hmm.. soy has iron too, apparently 😕 I honestly have no clue how people manage to keep their blood work normal. I don't get it. And frankly? I'm jealous.
Let me jump in here early just to be safe 😁 Should I be planning on taking extra iron during pregnancy? I’m definitely not raising a vegetarian—I've dealt with blood count issues my whole life—but still. I won't be pregnant anytime soon, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to know ahead of time 🙂
blue, I’m serious, it’s not like there's enough iron in there to cure anemia, but it is fortified. That’s why I’ll pick it over Cocoa Puffs any day 😁
Ethan Martinez11, he didn't die because of a vegetarian diet—he died because his parents were idiots. Plenty of people eat vegetarian and have perfectly healthy blood counts. Unfortunately, I’m not one of those 😢, but there are other factors at play here. You can definitely get plenty of iron from non-meat sources.
You're speaking the truth, Dr. Krešić. And if anyone actually cares about this stuff, they should be looking at a woman 😁 . Seriously, she’s fantastic. Sure, you have to deal with the torture of her obnoxious sister first, but the doctor herself is legendary. She’s got such a human approach. She isn't stingy with instructions either—she says she likes making sure things are clear. She even walked me through my ultrasound images to explain what was what. When I called her to ask a question (and yeah, I had to drag myself through another argument with her sister... seriously, why do I even bother? What am I even asking?), she explained everything perfectly. The only downside is she doesn't have an ultrasound machine on-site. Honestly, the first exam I ever had was with a guy, and he was great too. I don't get how people can be so certain that a woman will just "get it." Like, what if the doctor has never dealt with painful periods? How would she possibly know what you're going through?
ree, I highly doubt anyone chooses gynecology for that reason. Look, people go to med school first. I mean, after at least six years of training, even someone totally clueless realizes that gynecologists treat girls, pregnant women, elderly ladies, and women with STIs.

Exactly. Honestly, before I let anyone touch me for any kind of session, I’m checking their credentials first. Period. If you’re going to hand over cash to a Reiki practitioner, make sure they actually are a master and see who licensed them.
As for the money part? People just have this mindset that if it isn't expensive, it isn't worth anything.
Last week was a total wreck. I managed to get some sleep one night, but then I just wasted time staring at my phone from 10 PM until like 2 AM. I ended up breaking down in tears because I was just so exhausted. On Friday, I crashed at 3 PM and slept straight through until 1 AM the next day. Last night was the same deal—I basically slept like a log to catch up. I’m still a complete mess though.
I can usually hold it together for a day or two, but then I turn into this cranky zombie who just wants to cry until things feel normal again.
By the way, I read that mice who are deprived of sleep for too long actually die because their bodies can't regulate temperature anymore. It doesn't happen to humans, but still, that's pretty wild to think about.🙂
