I’m running into a bit of a wall trying to install the Intel x86 emulator Accelerator in Android Studio.
The installer keeps telling me I need to enable Intel VT-x in my BIOS, but I can't find that option anywhere in my settings.
I'm working on a Dell Inspiron running Windows 7 x64.
Any ideas? Should I try a BIOS update, or am I just out of luck?
A clean disk format and a fresh Windows install did the trick. Problem solved. Thanks 😁

I'm dealing with a Dell Inspiron.
Basically, I keep getting hit with a BSOD and these error codes:
STOP: 0x00000116
atikmpag.sys
From what I can tell after some digging online, it looks like a GPU issue. It probably is. When I boot the laptop into Safe Mode and uninstall the graphics driver, everything seems fine—though obviously, I'm stuck with a massive 😁 resolution.
I've tried installing new drivers manually, and I've let macOS try to handle the installation itself, but every single time I hit a black screen right after the Windows 7 boot sequence. It just sits there. I'm a bit lost. Should I be hunting for an older driver or something else?
Running Windows 7 64-bit.
