So, I figured I’d finally show up on these boards and try to scrape together enough courage for what’s coming my way 🙂
Today I found out that I’m heading in for admissions tomorrow, and then it’s surgery on my L4-L5 disc this Friday. Not exactly breaking news, I guess, but they actually moved my appointment up by a few days, so now my stomach and my head feel like... a total firework display 🙂Having gone through childbirth before, I know from experience that I feel wayyy better when I mentally brace myself and actually face what's ahead. I don't really have anything profound to say here... just felt like sharing... it helps to let some of this fear out to people who get it...
