Hasn't someone else here already mentioned how the pressure totally tanked right before the explosion happened? I mean, maybe it's impossible, just like you're saying, but if you're talking about a confined space—like inside a pipe or something—that explosive force can be up to five times more devastating.

Location matters—it plays a role in where you set the charge. Theoretically, if you could punch a hole through a pipe and shove the explosive right inside, you’d need way less stuff to cause massive destruction. This was definitely handled by pros, and honestly, neither side is going to claim responsibility for this kind of work.
It’s pretty obvious the Russians blew those pipelines up. They were sending a massive signal to the rest of the world—basically saying, "If we can do this much damage to our own infrastructure, imagine what we're capable of doing to yours." 😉

It’s honestly pretty grim watching these videos of young men being loaded up and sent off to war. You end up with some becoming criminals, others becoming invalids, and then there are the ones coming home in bags to their mothers—and even those who make it back physically whole won't ever really be right in the head again. It feels even more tragic seeing people from small ethnic groups being drafted; it’s going to deal an irreparable blow to their future and their standing within Russia as they've known it. Watching this is just heavy; some of them don't even seem to realize where they're actually headed. It reminds me of scenes out of "The Deer Hunter."

Just because there are 300,000 NATO troops moving around doesn't mean we're actually heading into a hot war. Honestly, it feels like we're seeing a total rerun of Cold War tactics—just massive buildup and stockpiling to see who can blink first. It’s basically a game of chicken to see who can keep up the pace. Russia is going to have to respond to that, which means more troops piling up along the borders and maintaining the status quo. At the end of the day, whoever wins this standoff is the one who can actually afford the bill—someone who can keep feeding, arming, and maintaining those massive forces over the long haul. And we all know who that is. Unless Russia finds some secret benefactor—which, let's be real, I don't see happening—they might be able to hang on for a few years, tops.
