I truly wanted to gift everyone something pleasant and fitting—not just a distraction from life's worries, but rather
a way to recapture those childhood memories and those playful, golden moments when, at this time of year, we all found such joy gathered around family and friends... so, I decided to revisit this classic theme. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Well, I actually went back and forth on whether to present this theme through the lens of Ornette Coleman, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Oliver Lake, or even Eberhard Weber... but in the end, I opted for the brilliant Pat Martin, just so I wouldn't intimidate the uninitiated with too much raw artistry.🙂
