Alright, so it finally dropped a couple days ago. This movie basically packs everything you need to know about the first Black U.S. president into just under two hours (1:50). Honestly, if you give it a watch, you won't regret it.
For me, the biggest gut punch was that final cut (part 11). It perfectly illustrates the pattern societies have been stuck in throughout history: these grand spectacles—decorated with mass euphoria, endless hope, and ultimately, the suffering of countless people—are just the modern sequels to the classics we all know too well, like Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, and Adolf Hitler.
