I realize moderators are just regular people. However, one would expect a certain level of decorum on the philosophy subforum—not this narrow-minded arrogance displayed by "steelridge58." Who actually blocked me from starting a thread titled: "The Greatest Books by History's Most Influential Thinkers?" And my post:
I couldn't find a thread like that, and besides, that isn't even the same subject matter.
Essentially, list a maximum of three books per thinker. Quality over quantity matters here. For instance, Sigmund Freud, Friedrich Nietzsche...
Leave out today's trendy fools whom nobody will remember in a few years.
Even after an appeal, she refuses to allow the topic. Heaven forbid someone discovers a brilliant book by a true genius. It’s much better if we all stay ignorant and just stare at idiots on TV.👎

If we actually needed her, we’d have to invent her—someone who handles work stress and just doesn't care. 🙏 She’s basically bulletproof at the office. 😁

Exactly. The show manages to stay positive and calm. 🙂 😘
An excellent series—top-tier quality. I first watched it about 10 or 15 years ago. Revisiting it now brings a certain sense of relaxation—contentment, even—to my routine.
The woman at the shop claims linen or cotton bedding is perfectly fine—provided you wash it at high temperatures. Apparently, they don't even stock any specialized anti-allergy options.
There’s absolutely nothing online—and I’m certainly not in the mood to dig through endless forums. Is satin actually better if you're dealing with allergies?
Now, I wasn't sure whether to post this here or under Home & Living—but since I’m looking for advice from an allergy specialist who actually knows their stuff, it belongs right here.
Don’t act like you saw the BlackRock crash coming—sure, the growth was unpredictable, but the collapse was staring everyone in the face. The markets in the USA are just amateur hour compared to what we deal with here. If trading on the BlackRock is like swiping a lollipop from a toddler, then trying to make money in the USA is like storming through Iraq to snatch a rifle from a commando. You decide which one sounds more realistic.
I don't get it—someone asks a question, I give a polite answer just so I don't seem rude—assuming they actually have a reason for asking, though I suspect they're just trolling. God, the level of stupidity on this platform is staggering.
Just so he can tell me if there’s actually any point to it—and if so, where to find a decent meditation session. I'd like to head to a Buddhist center to find some peace and quiet myself.
Read the whole thread. I’m looking to pick up a skill that works both the mind and the body—Wing Chun seems like a solid option. Any other suggestions? Also, where can I find decent Kung Fu training? There are:
