Hey everyone,
I first signed up for this forum back on July 12, 2007, and I was somewhat active until about the end of summer 2009... Since then, I've managed to put up fewer than 10 ( I figured it might be time to jump back in since I have a bit too much free time on my hands lately, and I noticed some pretty interesting discussions happening here. So, I was wondering if it might be possible—and I realize this is a big ask, especially since nobody would really notice the change anyway—to switch my username over to Paul Kern6 - pretty sure it's available.
I'm aware of the rules; I've read through them. But maybe an exception could be made just this once, given that it wouldn't really affect anything or reveal my old identity.

If you made an exception for one person, you'd have to do it for everyone else, which just wouldn't be fair. So, probably not.
That said, nothing is stopping you from just starting a brand new account with whatever name you want.
You might be able to tweak the graphics settings, and maybe mess with the RAM latency a bit, but I guess that’s about it since you can't really overclock a Northwood 2.4; I personally had one running at 2.4 GHz and couldn't get much more out of it...

I suppose you should download ATI Tray Tools—you'll need to have the Catalyst drivers installed first—and then you can just right-click that little red icon in your system tray, go to hardware, and select overclocking... from there, you can just bump up the clock speeds and that's basically it; just hit apply, and you're good to go. I guess you'll just have to test it out in-game and then keep tweaking the speeds if needed.
I can adjust the CPU clock ratio multiplier—or something along those lines—directly on the motherboard, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all...
It’s a bit strange; I can change the multiplier, yet the frequency just won't budge...
The setup uses a Pentium 4 with a Willamette core...
Also, I was wondering if it's possible that the motherboard is responsible for all these voltage issues—since they seem way too low—causing my PC to shut down? I've already double-checked the power supply, and it provides full voltage when tested with a similar configuration.
You aren't exactly intimidating me here, mostly because I don't even know the actual medical terminology for all these bends and pops in my back...
I suppose I should probably go find an orthopedist, I think there's one somewhere nearby in 🤔...
By the way, does anyone know what you call those specialists who use their elbows to massage your spine until everything starts popping and cracking? That's actually the kind of person I'd like to visit...
I’m 14 years old, standing about 6 feet tall, and weighing around 145 pounds... I really enjoy swimming and diving into the local stretch of the Colorado River... I tend to try all sorts of different jumps, and about a week and a half ago, I suppose I gathered quite a bit of momentum—I'm pretty fast—and went for a head-first dive. The jump itself seemed fine at the time, but after a few seconds, I started feeling this pain in my lower back. It lasted for about three days; it wasn't anything intense, just something I noticed whenever I intentionally put pressure on that specific area. Currently, it doesn't hurt under normal circumstances, but if I lean back quite far and really strain my lower back, I get this faint ache in the exact same spot where it happened during the dive...
I guess I'm just not sure if I should be looking into getting some medical exams or something similar, so I'd really appreciate any advice you guys might have!

I managed to push the core up to 510 MHz without any cooling, and I think I got the memory hitting 450...

I was just wondering if it might be possible to overclock an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 from 400 MHz up to 520 MHz?
I noticed they have Kinder Bueno at the snack stands near Yellowstone...
It’s a bit overpriced, though... I feel like I could probably buy a whole loaf of bread for that much.

Intel and Nvidia are basically the gold standard here!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean, Intel is essentially just what used to be ATI...
they're pretty much the only two major players left in the graphics card game...
