Props to swifttiger75 on the win. Being so damn sure of your own victory that you start offering prizes to everyone else—that's some master-level confidence right there.
Thanks, Tyler. I might sponsor another race—maybe Monaco. It’s all because of that one night I started this thread. You can tell the wine is top-shelf! 😁
Terry Carter2 said:Nobody let one rip quite like Adam Chase41! I don't think anyone's topping that one anytime soon. 😁
Terry Carter2, come on, drop the results already... I’m sitting here with a glass of top-shelf Napa Cab, and it looks like Tyler Bennett5 is thirsty too! Personally, I think some extra criteria will tip the scales—or maybe a wild card will jump out of nowhere and flip the whole thing on its head.
darkmarlin16 said:Sebastian Vettel—it’s a tough one. Hard to pin down a single definitive take without getting into the weeds. Daniel Ricciardo is out. Just like that. It’s a tough break for him—tougher than most probably realize—but that’s just how this sport works. One day you're the face of the grid, the next you're looking for a seat. No sugarcoating it: it sucks.
Here’s today's starting grid. Only two drivers actually nailed Vettel's pole position prediction. Congrats to them.
Not that I've been keeping up with Joker's predictions.
Look, folks—whoever picks Max Verstappen for the championship is going to absolutely crush everyone else. The point spread is going to be massive. Personally, I prefer it when things stay tight, maybe within a 20-30 point margin.
I’m bracing for a total meltdown from the crowd trying to force both Hamilton and Vettel onto the podium. There just isn't enough room up there for both of them.
Whoever calls the winner gets a bottle of top-shelf wine—I'll send it over via DM after the race is done.

👍
Anyway... your grandpa's birthday is coming up soon (the 10th, if my memory serves), so if he's still around, you thought of anything good for a gift yet?
He knows exactly where he stands—he's totally fine with it—so there's no sabotage against Kimi happening here.
I honestly thought he’d come after me for saying that. You, though? Not so much. 😁 Doesn't change the facts, regardless. Just because he’s eccentric in how he communicates and follows his own weird logic doesn't mean my point is wrong.
Aside from that, he's actually one of the better speakers out there, right up there with Alonso. 🙏
Kyle Edwards5 said:Honestly, I think Kimi would be perfectly happy if he could just snag one win this season. That's about it. To me, that would feel just like winning the championship. 😁
Yeah. It would've been nice. And mine too. This whole thing between those two is going to be a total circus. Anyway... Mr. Moderator, I noticed you haven't voted in the poll yet. Probably having a hard time choosing between the two options. 😁
Look, I want to make one thing clear—though it seems some people here haven't grasped it for two years running:
Kimi Räikkönen is the number two driver at Ferrari! He’s fine with it. Sebastian Vettel is fine with it. Everyone over at the Scuderia is perfectly okay with it. Most fans are too.
Dammit, the WDC is the holy grail, and everything revolves around that. Given how dominant Mercedes is, this is the only logical way to play it—not that it’s anything new to the Italian philosophy.
And yet, you see people constantly whining about... Kimi being sabotaged. He isn't.
Kimi was the last guy to win the FER WDC! He's an old veteran who still has plenty of life in him, but he knows exactly where he stands.
Kyle Edwards5 said:Didn't catch the race—and from what I'm reading, Mercedes-Benz still looks faster—but honestly, it's not a bad start to the season regardless.
Where the hell is everyone going? The moderator for Formula 1—you mean they didn't even watch the first race of the season? I'm pretty sure even Joe isn't bright enough to actually watch the race. 😁
So, I’m taking this post as a provocation. 🧐
Kyle Edwards5 said:I’ve been catching up on everything I missed while I was away, and... Could we maybe dial back the insults and the constant putting each other down? Just a thought. Thanks!
Joseph Flores15 said:This win was a nice little boost—but let’s be real, Red Bull and Mercedes-Benz are going to tear the rest of the grid apart like cats and dogs. 😢
It looks like that’s how it’s going to play out—but man, I feel like a pig at a vegetarian wedding.
Gary Palmer8 said:Yeah, you could’ve pretty much guessed the idiots at Haas would screw up the exact same way twice—Grosjean parking the car so we get a VSC followed by a full Safety Car... just a perfect storm of chaos, and the German barely scraped a win. From here on out, it’s just pure Mercedes-Benz dominance. I can't wait to watch it all unfold this year.
Drink some water instead. This is Mercedes-Benz dominance regardless of how the race actually ended. Just let this delusional forum troll celebrate because he finally stumbled onto something right by accident.
