Roger Wright94 said:I just wanted to point out that Vettel's real issue was that red flag and being short on the S set. The tire choice for the restart is secondary, IMO.

How much of an advantage would Vettel have actually built up at the SS if there hadn't been that red flag—and how do you think he would've handled the tire changes later? Just curious about your take.

Asking because, honestly, I don't think we could've walked away with a win in New York City, no matter how much we wanted it.

Hey there, legend! 🙂
I’m afraid it might just be an illusion.
Jason Campbell70 said:It's like Ferrari being stuck in Williams mode for the last few seasons.

They completely blew those wins.

Exactly!. 👍

It’s just like that sketch in Monty Payton where the guy fights himself for the championship title—and ends up winning by actually managing to surprise himself! 🤣
Kimi's done. 🙄
The kitties are going to absolutely steamroll them. 😲

About as intense as a rubber factory! 🤣

Sometimes I surprise myself too! 😁
Lewis Hamilton is going for it—no pit stop this time, and he’s still got those fresh medium tires left in the tank. 🕺
They absolutely wrecked Kimi's race. 🤦
Some things just never change. 👎
Let's goooooo!!!!!! 😁
stormybadger8 said:The only issue is this garbage set of rules when dominance is basically baked in by design and the rest of the field stands zero chance of breaking it—all because of the regulations.

You're telling it like it is. 🙂

Get out of here, man. 🐔

Set off an alarm. Then just coasting through the morning with ☕
Jacob White49 said:Heading into the race in McLaren Barcelona, they've actually got the edge over Ferrari...

Yeah, right—Toro Rosso is going to wipe the floor with them. 😁
Why so fatalistic? It’s not like the Mercedes just suddenly lost their pace out of nowhere. One of their top engineers—Michael Schumacher—spent a few seasons constantly tweaking the car race after race, and now we're seeing the fallout. They're still the best, though. They earned their spot at the top.

Sure, dominance gets boring after a while, but this actually makes watching F1 more enjoyable. It’s chill—no stress over who’s going to take the trophy. I’m genuinely curious to see how Jolyon Palmer and Kevin Magnussen handle themselves, how Honda manages the race strategy, and how young Max Verstappen steps up.

And eventually, the regulations will change again, resetting the playing field. We might get one of those wild, incredible seasons, or maybe a repeat of 2009.

All in all, I can't wait for those red lights to go out tomorrow morning so I can sit down with my son and kick off another F1 season.

And of course...

Mechanics are actually going to see some real money this year!!! 🤣

Expect plenty of people catching up on sleep during the race on Sunday. 😁

Did you hear what Toby is saying about Honda's total dominance?!
