neonfox65 said:You don't need to write "Sebastian Vettel messes up"—just leave it at unknown.🙂
neonfox65 said:Unknown, those are just nicknames.
Sebastian Vettel's little spin.
finger
And of course:
🤣
neonfox65 said:He claimed Red Bull Racing has the best race pace—now I'm just waiting for him to get roasted in the other thread.
neonfox65 said:He needs to vent—he's clearly frustrated, and honestly, I don't hold it against him. 😉
neonfox65 said:If it wasn't my mom, who would even bother trying to make me laugh? 🙂
neonfox65 said:Not good—they're the best. If we’d actually listened to that guy, we’d be finished by now.

neonfox65 said:There it is—he's finally saying it. Everyone was running on unknowns, except for that poor soul on the Goodyear tires.🙏

McLaren totally misplayed their hand here—it's pretty obvious.
Richard Walker38 said:If you cave in like that, you aren't championship material—period.
Look at Hamilton and Alonso back at McLaren. Lewis knew exactly what he was capable of and didn't show an ounce of deference. From the jump, he stepped up to challenge Alonso—just a kid going against a two-time world champ—and refused to play second fiddle.
cosmiccyclist8 said:I heard Mika thinks so too... though he probably knows just how much of a mess Leclerc's pit stop was during that first race. Look, Leclerc might be their long-term guy, but acting like Barrichello after just one race is a bit much.
edit: what if Leclerc actually outperforms everyone at the Bahrain Grand Prix?
darkmarlin16 said:It’s called opening 🙏🙏🙏
Nicholas Newman2 said:I assume some people won't agree with me—and just to be clear, I don't consider myself a nationalist. Still, it bugs me that the thread title is in an American dialect. When you're just posting comments, I don't care; if it bothers someone, they don't have to read. But seeing the actual topic heading written that way feels unnatural.
Anyway, the thread itself should have been opened properly, but clearly you had some issues since you missed adding the grid girls. Blaming forum limitations isn't a valid excuse.
brighthound8 said:The Bahrain thread is open, but from here on out, keep my previous warning in mind. If you keep up with the bull****, expect a report and a potential ban.
Nicholas Newman2 said:I completely agree, man—I actually wrote a few pages about this earlier. My handle and signature pretty much say it all.
My only thought is that the people on the pit wall lacked any sense of tact during that mess. They could have just politely told Leclerc to come in for fresher rubber or to try making that single point work with the FL. The gap to the guy behind him was more than enough.
That would have been the classy move.
And while I don't think Lec was throwing too much of a tantrum about the call, if they actually plan on building a future around him, it’s not healthy for his spirit or his confidence to be shut down so bluntly right at the start.

Now, according to some people, Vettel should have compromised his entry and exit just to let Charles Leclerc past... for what? On the entry, Vettel is clearly ahead and taking the standard racing line. Tires and brakes are cold, the car is carrying a full fuel load—of course he’s going to use the full width of the track, just like everyone else.
