Hmmmm, is it really that much trouble for you to just make a massive change?
Plizzzz
Fine then, let's go with:

Casey Bennett said:You haven't been particularly active on the forum lately, and I suspect your current handle is actually your real name, which is likely why you're looking for a change. We can certainly opt for a complete overhaul of your username, but please, try to be a bit more creative.
As for "m20," that won't fly with the admins because they've already made the call that all new handles must be strictly alphanumeric without numbers.
To be blunt, V. g. is a pretty lackluster choice, and I honestly doubt it would even pass an appeal with higher management.
Give it another shot. 😉
So, m20 driver?
So, can we go with V. g. then?
Hey, any chance I could get my username changed to this: m20
Thanks
I see this thread is pretty old, but I couldn't find any other place to ask this.
Is there any way at all to change a username on here?
Thanks.
Thanks so much, everyone.
Everything you guys said was actually super helpful.
Regarding that Craigslist guy—do you think I could just slap both of those sticks into my laptop along with the two gigs I already have in there?
The previous owner had already bumped it up from 1GB to 2GB, so I'm trying to figure this out.
You thinking about just wiping the whole thing and doing a fresh install of Windows?
Thanks a million, 🙂
I’ve been scouring the web looking for an SSD and some RAM, but honestly, this thing is such a relic that I probably just need to check if a buddy of mine has any spare parts lying around.
Besides, I’m really not an expert when it comes to knowing all the right places to hunt for this kind of stuff.
Do you happen to have a link for that Linux download?
And tell me, if I go the Linux route, am I basically throwing my Windows setup in the trash?
Because honestly, that’s the last thing I want to do given those documents I mentioned earlier.
Hey there.
So, I’ve got this old laptop sitting around at home. It’s basically an extra machine for me since we have a newer one now, but I really want to keep this thing around because of all my old documents and precious memories stored on it.
Honestly, it feels way easier to just upgrade this relic than to deal with the massive headache of migrating everything over to a new computer.
Is there any way to beef this thing up so it stops being painfully slow? Right now, it's a total nightmare—it stutters and freezes constantly just trying to boot up.
Here's what I'm working with:
T2500 2.00GHz
2.00GB
ATI Radeon X1300
80GB
Those are the specs.
What should I actually be looking to upgrade here?
Also, if the processor is soldered onto the board, am I totally stuck, or is there still some hope?
Thanks,
LP
