It's just an observation that this shift is happening because of the internal team dynamics.
Red Bull treats Mark Webber like the stepson they ignore while Sebastian Vettel is clearly the golden child,

which naturally turns Webber into the underdog hero,

but honestly, I'm neither a fan of Webber nor a fan of Red Bull; if anything, the mere mention of Red Bull makes me sick.👍

I could almost bet that Red Bull would rather see Hamilton become world champion if they can't somehow force it to be Vettel. Their marketing "experts" clearly couldn't stomach the fact that Red Bull's first championship title went to Webber, simply because he looks more like a regular guy who enjoys a beer (being from Australia and all) rather than some hyper-aggressive beast that fits the typical consumer profile for their red chemical concoction.

I also can't wrap my head around why they extended Webber's contract if they can't stand him. Did they seriously think he'd just settle down and quietly wait for retirement?
