I'm hoping for the opposite, honestly. If they can actually drive this one without screwing something up, they might actually close that gap with McLaren.🤣
But I've got a bad feeling Alonso will pull some "genius" move of his own, and if even a single drop of rain hits the track, Massa's going straight to the stands.😢
Honestly, looking back at the last two Grands Prix, Fernando should have easily secured 3rd and 4th place if it hadn't been for all that manipulation going on behind the scenes.
Ferrari 🙏, this marks their third solid performance in a row, so let's just hope nobody tries to pull a fast one on them again
Fernando looks like he's in peak form all weekend, and honestly, this could very well be his race to win
It was about time Felipe Massa stepped it up
My only hope is that we aren't looking at yet another rigged race.
Fernando has been shamelessly robbed twice now. At this point, he could easily be sitting on about 25 more points than he actually has.
Lewis Hamilton should probably be facing a deficit of at least 30 points. His infractions just don't seem to get penalized; he gets a mere warning for the third time, whereas if anyone else pulled those same moves, they’d be hit with a penalty immediately.
The officiating in the last two races has been nothing short of a disgrace.
Everything just went completely sideways today. Honestly, there’s no telling who’s footing the bill and who’s just out there drinking the profits away.
Only a 5-second penalty.
It’s honestly ridiculous; there are so many things about this race that just don't feel right according to the usual rules.
I am certainly pleased to see that Ferrari has demonstrated they can actually keep pace with the tempo set by Red Bull Racing and McLaren.
I truly hope that this dirty way of playing things backfires on Hamilton, because honestly, he didn't deserve it in the first place.
In my honest opinion, Kobayashi is realistically sitting at number three.
When will the penalties be handed out?
It simply isn't fair.
And why was everyone just standing by, waiting for him to be penalized?

At least he actually respects the rules, unlike McLaren's number two driver, who has already broken them three times this season without anyone even batting an eye.
What a complete mess this Lewis Hamilton situation is.
He’s playing dirty and showing zero respect for the regulations, whereas the guy right in front of him, Alonso, is actually following them to the letter.
Hamilton absolutely deserved a stop-and-go penalty for that move.
I honestly cannot wrap my head around why you decided to start this thread in English when this is an American forum!!! Assuming you are one of us, I am even more baffled as to why you aren't writing in our own melodic language instead of opting for that overly commercialized tongue used by tobacco marketing departments. I certainly am not one of those

You can find the press conference right on BBC's website 🙂 I am not entirely certain if you can stream it without using an identity cloaker, but I believe it should work... give it a shot 🙂
No, wait—did you seriously not watch the race?🤷
I cannot find the press conference anywhere😢
Fernando Alonso was absolutely brilliant🙏🙏. It’s such a shame about the traffic issues, but honestly, if someone had told me right after the Turkish Grand Prix that he’d be back on the podium, I would have believed them in a heartbeat. After that performance in Turkey, I didn't think anyone could top a fifth-place finish.
Even though Ferrari is trailing slightly behind Red Bull Racing and McLaren, I still think Alonso has a legitimate shot at the title. The thing is, both Red Bull Racing and McLaren have two drivers fighting for the championship, whereas at Ferrari, it's just a one-man show. If Massa can finally find his rhythm and snag a few points away from those other teams, it might change the math.
I agree
Heikki Kovalainen🙏🙏🙏🙏 finished 7th,😲 which is actually quite decent.
Does anyone happen to have a video clip of that pit lane incident?
Vettel is starting from the disadvantaged side of the grid, whereas Alonso gets the advantage of the clean side.👋

🙄
No, I wouldn't say that; rather, I am certain☕
In this context, my focus is primarily on Alonso.
Anyone who decides to start on a softer compound could see a massive advantage if a safety car happens to pull onto the track early in the race.
Mercedes completely fell short of expectations today, whereas Ferrari managed to deliver a really pleasant surprise. That being said, the hero of the day is undoubtedly Liuzzi; it’s becoming increasingly obvious that the Force India car is still perfectly suited for these high-speed tracks.

I still vividly remember those clips from 2008 during the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix; I recall watching them while the US national team was playing against Austria in the European Championship.🤦
I’ll be providing commentary based on the tips I’ve been receiving, Šapit, Jergović, and Novak, though it’s looking like Šapit will likely be stationed in the studio, while those two handle the play-by-play just like they did back in 2008.
