Messaging vs. Email vs. Snail Mail: Which is best?
in Miscellaneous ·
For years, my friend and I kept up through handwritten letters, though eventually, everything just dwindled down to simple text messages. A shame, really.
I used to receive postcards until about two years ago—a few here and there during the summer—but people just don't bother sending them anymore. It's a loss.
As for email, that's my primary outlet. It allows for more depth, and I actually enjoy the process of writing at length. I don't have Facebook or any of that nonsense, so I rely on email; everyone knows that, so my inbox stays pretty full. 😍
There was even a TV special a few years back covering this exact topic, which revealed that quite a few people still maintain connections through physical mail. There is something beautiful about that. 🙂
