Around three or so, things were looking pretty bleak—though honestly, who could have actually predicted it?
Here’s a little something I put together for the Black Knights—actually finished drafting this just yesterday.
We are the Black Knights from Miami,
Where the heat isn't just about the summer sun,
When our guys light up the flares, the show's begun,
Making everyone else look small, one by one.
Born by the coast, we bleed for the Heat,
While those folks from the North take a backseat,
Wherever we roll, the noise is loud and sweet,
Leaving the rest feeling the fear and the defeat.
We storm through NYC, Chicago, and Philly too,
Then head back home to our coastal sanctuary anew,
Where the whole world is waiting for the champions to debut,
To hell with the rules and the crowds, we're coming through.
Miami loves its legends, its icons, its pride,
Our local heroes, always side by side. <3
🎉🎉 And at the end of the day, you're the only one I love—that's a promise from your BLACK KNIGHTS! ALE ALE ALEEEEE!! 👍
Hey everyone, I’ve run into a bit of a situation here. So, I spent well over an hour crafting a job application—I was being incredibly meticulous about every single little detail—but just as I went to reopen the file to give it one last look, this popped up.
View on imgurI live in Microsoft Office, so there is absolutely no way I saved it incorrectly. I followed the standard procedure, but I have honestly never encountered this error before in my life. Is there any way to recover the document before all that work goes down the drain?
Honestly, what an absolute paradise this is—why are you all stressing out? I’ll personally see to it that Jerry Jones is dealt with tomorrow. You really should have just consulted me from the start, and we could all be living happily ever after right now.
If you hadn't spent all that time messing with me over my incredible, top-tier legal anthems, you could have already celebrated the villain's downfall.🙂

it’ll do the trick for my needs right now—I’ve got one myself—and I suspect it’ll satisfy you too

Alright, the price isn't terrible; you might actually be able to pull that kind of cash together.
But I have a question—do you honestly think it’s worth even bothering to repair a rig with this specific configuration? I get the RAM situation—upgrading that is straightforward enough—but this processor is what really keeps me up at night. I’d love to actually play some slightly more recent titles without everything crawling, but frankly, I haven't the foggiest idea how to approach it...
Ryan Hayes82 said:If you're looking to stretch your dollar, honestly—just head over to the used market. You can find much better deals there. For instance, I spotted a pretty solid 8800GT recently that’s well worth the look. Though, if I were you, I'd probably try to pick up an extra gig—or maybe even more—of RAM while you're at it. It really makes a difference.
I happened upon this listing for an Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS—an absolute relic, really—and I couldn't help but feel a certain sense of nostalgia mixed with pure, unadulterated skepticism. It’s one of those items that makes you wonder if the seller is living in a time capsule or simply hasn't checked their inbox since the Bush administration. Looking at the specs, it’s quite a leap from where we stand today. Back when these were cutting edge, we weren't worrying about ray tracing or DLSS; we were just happy if the frame rate didn't dip below double digits during a particularly intense firefight. Still, seeing an old card like this pop up on a marketplace feels like finding a dusty Polaroid in a junk drawer—it’s a little bit charming, but ultimately, it’s just outdated hardware that belongs in a museum rather than a modern rig. One has to ask: who is actually buying this? Is there some enthusiast out there trying to build a period-accurate retro PC, or is someone just hoping they can snag a bargain for a secondary machine? If it's the former, Godspeed to them. If it's the latter, well, they might find themselves more frustrated than a commuter stuck in rush hour traffic on the I-95.
I’ve been scouring the local classifieds—you know how it goes—and I stumbled upon this listing for an Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS. It’s one of those relics that makes you wonder where the time went, isn't it? It’s listed at a price that feels... let's call it "optimistic" would be a polite way to put it. Honestly, looking at the specs, it's practically a museum piece at this point. If you're trying to build some sort of retro rig just to feel something again, maybe it's worth a look, but for anything remotely modern? Forget about it. It's like trying to run a marathon in flip-flops—technically possible if you're willing to suffer, but why would anyone choose that life? Anyway, I'll keep an eye on it. There's always someone out there looking for a bargain on vintage silicon, even if the bargain is mostly just nostalgia. 😕
Honestly, I’m not entirely sure how much of a gamble this actually is—buying used hardware, that is. I mean, there's always that nagging worry that the whole thing just bricks itself after a month of use. Have you personally dealt with any luck—good or bad—when it comes to picking up second-hand gear?
As far as my shoulder goes, I'm not too worried—those things aren't exactly breaking the bank.
wearyfalcon11 said:Hey everyone—here is the situation: my graphics card fried itself over six months ago, and I have been procrastinating on buying a replacement because, let's face it, it is easily the most expensive part of any build. Since I just finished school, I am currently unemployed, so I cannot exactly drop a massive chunk of change on a GPU—meaning, the cheaper, the better. My parents certainly aren't going to foot the bill; I have no idea how much they would even contribute, especially since this PC stays running constantly and things seem to break in it all the time (which, frankly, makes no sense to me—maybe the components just hate each other or something?).
So, to recap, my previous setup featured an Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS with 512MB. I am running a CODEGEN 300XX (400W) power supply, one gig of RAM, and while I cannot recall the exact processor, I know it was some kind of 2.5GHz dual-core AMD—likely this one—along with a 250 GB HDD, etc. My resolution is 1280x1024. Now, I saw some 1GB cards listed at Best Buy for about $100$, and as I mentioned, money is tight—that price is actually quite steep for me—so please, give me some recommendations on what would be worth picking up for such a small budget.🤷 Or perhaps it would make more sense to hunt for something on eBay? (Just for example, what about this one, is it any good? $40? Or maybe this one, or this one? 🤷
🤷
Greetings, everyone. Here is the predicament: my graphics card fried itself over six months ago, and I have been procrastinating on buying a replacement because—let's face it—it is easily the most expensive component in a PC build. Having just finished school, I am currently between jobs, so finding any significant amount of cash for a GPU is out of the question. I need something as cheap as humanly possible. My parents certainly won't be footing the bill; I have no idea how much they might contribute, but since this rig is running constantly, things seem to break all the time—which, frankly, I don't understand. Perhaps the components simply loathe one another?
To give you some context, I was previously running an Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS with 512MB. My power supply is a CodeGen 300XX (400W), I have a single gig of RAM, and while I cannot recall the exact processor, I know it was a dual-core AMD chip—likely this one—along with a 250 GB HDD. I typically run at a resolution of 1280x1024. Now, I spotted some 1GB cards over at HG for about $100, but as I mentioned, even that is stretching my budget quite thin. Given my limited funds, what would you recommend? What actually makes sense to buy when you're working with pennies? 🤷 Or perhaps there is more value in scouring eBay... for instance, what about this one? Is that a good shout? $40? Or maybe this, that? 🤷

Calm down 😂😂😂
I'm going to deck him—he's really trying to come for me now...🙂
Is there any way to grab this via torrent or something similar?
Can anyone give me the lowdown on the 1:30 game?

For goodness' sake—you Americans really ought to study your own history books; you can't exactly blame anyone else for your lack of knowledge...🤷

Honestly, I just love these choreographies of yours—and those messages in Old English script...🙏
I really think more people should be leaning into this stuff more often!!
Everyone is always whining about "the rival fleets"—the Mexicans, the Italians, whatever—yet they act more patriotic than any of us... though, perhaps the hardcore ultras actually have them beat on that particular front.🤷
Terry Lee3 said:You’ve got a point there—though, if I recall correctly, you lot spent quite a long stretch trying to prove yourselves to the "Big Three," didn't you?
As far as I can tell, that "Big Three" group doesn't actually call themselves the "Big Three"—they call themselves the "Big Four," and that includes both Real Madrid and BBB. Do you honestly believe your opinion carries more weight than theirs?
Besides, it's always been this way; the "Big Four" has always been a quartet.
It’s honestly good to see the fleet looking this sharp again.
I’d give just about anything to see them regain their former glory once more.🙂
There are moments when I truly feel like nobody in the Western world can touch us except maybe the Greeks—we’ve got three distinct groups here that command absolute respect from anyone worth their salt...👍
Does anyone happen to have photos from that Cleveland vs. Indianapolis game back in '99? I don't think I'll ever be able to shake the memory of that matchup...
