Once this young musician from Istanbul tore through one of his tracks solo—just incredibly fast and impressive—the crowd over at the SC started clapping :klap:
Eh, it's a bit of a shallow scene, but you need it to show there's variety. Those rappers have the most ridiculous 😁 lyrics out there...
Sure. I know people are lazy as hell and just want an instant fix. Then again, the pull of external sensory pleasures is just too damn strong. But Health means Balance. Both outside and in... if you lean too hard into the world out there, you'll get sick physically. If you retreat too far inward, you'll break mentally.
It’s tough... people would rather just reach for a pill than actually put in the work to change themselves. They let their internal energies run wild instead of learning how to direct them personally.
PCOS happens when sexual energy gets too intense—basically, when there's an excess of energy concentrated in those specific centers. Long-term, the fix is about rebalancing, both energetically and hormonally. That means looking at the big picture of how we live... changing lifestyle habits and finding a way to express our energy more evenly. 😉

Of course they will. They're just workers trying to churn through as many patients as possible in the shortest amount of time... you can get whatever line they want to feed you. You might get lucky and stumble onto someone with actual _Energy_ and empathy who's actually a decent doctor... but mostly they're just cogs in the machine, people who aren't even healthy themselves and live pretty messy lives. Just living on pills.
I saw four different specialists for my throat issues and everyone gave me a different story... said my lymph nodes weren't swollen. They were. It wasn't until I went to an ENT who also practices Ayurveda that things changed. Homeopathy and Ayurveda finally helped after I spent the entire summer fighting strep infections. Antibiotics didn't do a thing for me...

Jesus, people really do a number on themselves...🙄
Crossing The Bridge has been recommended before, but you can never have enough. If a movie actually lands for me, it’s because it has substance. That interplay between Music and Lights was beautiful. A nice trip out East too... Istanbul really does have something special about it.
Since they're showing documentaries anyway, they might as well have aired Working Man's Death or even Tibet Revisited. The latter is a bit experimental, sure, but still counts as a documentary.
Kevin Chavez3 I feel like you can't really call yourself a good person if you don't dig Housewife. They're basically the Buzzcocks of the cookie world. 🙂

The top 3 fashion essentials for a guy (not all at once, obviously)
1. A white, unbuttoned shirt paired with a suit and no tie 2. A thick, styled Billy Childish mustache 3. That Hare Krishna look and hair
Nice taste! 😉 Man... you could find all of that on me...😁 That white shirt is almost sheer, like some fine Indian linen... wow. And my mustache isn't even styled, it just grows like that.
Not sure what the price tag is, but it’s Ashtanga yoga. It does wonders for your physique, along with a few other disciplines. Just watch your knees, though... it can be a bit hard on them. Easy.

Ah, so we're bringing out the "high vs. low culture" arguments now. That's not even what this is about... 😉
Not sure what they're actually playing, but I know the difference between a free jazz band and a quartet, so I’m speaking theoretically here 😉
It doesn't matter if they cover Hendrix.
My favorite group plays everything from Kraftwerk 👍, to folk tunes, to Indian ragas—and they're just a trio 😉 with two violins and a double bass.
They do chamber and classical stuff too... though they were at their best when they mashed up Bond with some light nocturnes by Mozart. Total virtuosos.
So they aren't exactly "bands" 😁 regardless of how you look at it. 😉
There’s a massive gap between a pop, rock, or free jazz outfit and more traditional global music... though free jazz is really the gray area. You have everything from free jazz bands to trios, quartets, or even full symphonies... 😁

btw. even the Chicago Underground Quartet is called a band,😉 but they're jazzers.
Look, I'm not making fun of you. It just caught me off guard...😁
If they're playing classical or chamber music, it isn't a band.😉
