I don't see any reason to treat people with disabilities like children; in fact, treating them that way is exactly what leads to isolation. Arthur Anderson49, along with several others, treated him as a peer and an equal conversationalist.

Regardless of the specific illness or disorder involved, an online community offers one particular luxury: the ability to write what you want, read it over, change your mind, edit the text, and only then hit post.
On a platform like this, communication barriers caused by health issues can be bypassed—provided there is a genuine desire to do so.

And as wanderingbadger44 pointed out, if we decide to treat people differently based on their struggles—and why on earth would we take anyone's word at face value without proof?—then by all means, let them submit their medical diagnoses to receive special status so we can all enjoy their company, completely unburdened by social conventions.

Based on my other experiences, I’ve come to realize that the issue isn't whether the user is a troll; the issue is that they are a malicious actor whose ultimate goal is to incite this kind of infighting among users who were perfectly happy socializing moments ago. They effectively weaponized every shared virtue of the regular DZ community to achieve that end.
