He’s already submitted all his paperwork for retirement to Trenton, so I was wondering if the medical board has any authority to try and send him back to work, even though they haven't actually made a final decision on his case yet?

So, you're saying there actually are drivers available for that Dell Latitude?? I was honestly thinking about picking one up, but the second I heard there wasn't any driver support for Windows XP, I completely backed off from that model... even though I really do like the look of it...
It’s a real bummer. There are just two other things I'm curious about: I've come across two identical versions of this Dell Inspiron, but they actually have different graphics cards—one has an Nvidia GeForce 7000 m 128 and the other has an Nvidia GeForce 8400GS with 256 MB. Between those two, which one would you say is better, say, if I wanted to get some gaming done?

I'm honestly not sure if a driver CD even comes with it. I've heard some people say that XP drivers just aren't available anymore, and it feels a little silly to drop money on a new laptop $2133 only to find out I can't actually get XP running on it. I mean, Vista is fine, but I'd really prefer to be using XP for the time being.

My plan is actually to install Windows XP instead, so I'm just wondering if those Vista drivers would even work on an XP setup, seeing as they're only officially provided for Vista.😕 😕
