this one is actually easy to stop—provided you actually know what’s going on and why.
I practically bolted out of my chair.😁
Sandra Nelson said:I went down a rabbit hole looking up photos of pressure sores online—wish I hadn't. Thanks for the input, guys, but I really don't think I have that.😲 😉
well, stick to the routine for now, then double-check later. 🤣
Makes sense. For me, it’s just one side—mostly because I’m always leaning heavily to that side when I sit.🤦 Basically, all my weight is dumped onto that one spot. Anyway, isn't it kind of weird seeing young people getting pressure sores?🤣
Karen Booth36 said:It’s in that exact same spot for me—right where the glutes are. 😁 I was actually doing some digging online earlier, and apparently, skin can crack and leave these weird marks just from being super dry. Honestly, I’m trying to convince myself it’s just my skin acting up rather than anything serious... Does yours look like a bruise? I also read that sitting for too long can cause this, and since I’ve been glued to my desk studying for finals for the last two weeks... yeah, that's probably it.
That sounds exactly like what you described.🤣 Scary accurate.
Hopefully it’s just the sitting and the dry skin—I’m basically a permanent resident in my office chair at this point. Fingers crossed it isn't some random skin condition.🙄😢
Just put them both on mute. Honestly, there’s zero point hanging out with that guy—it's a waste of time. Just give him a subtle hint that he's not welcome and get back to your own life. Act like he doesn't even exist.
Look, I hate to be the one to say this, but your sister is just a selfish jerk, and that's probably not going to change. It's hard to give advice here because if I were stuck in a room alone with him, I’d basically shut him down in two sentences—leave him so embarrassed he wouldn't dare show his face at your place again. But hey, that’s just me. 😍

My current process is a bit of a cumbersome workaround—I tend to hit Quote, copy the entire block, strip out the parts I don't need, write my response, then paste the whole thing back in just to prune it again, and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
trying my best.🙄
The way I usually handle this is the hard way—I hit Quote, grab the whole block, delete whatever junk I don't need, type my reply,
then paste the whole thing back in, trim it down again, answer, repeat...[/I]
Everything works for me except 2 and 4. Number two feels way too rushed—honestly, it’s just grating. And four? I can't help but link it to other stuff. It's more about vibes than actual studying.🤣
mistyseal96 said:Hey, I’ve got a referral for a urologist but it looks like they're all guys—I’d honestly feel way more comfortable seeing a woman. Does anyone know if there are any female urologists in Washington, D.C.? Thanks!
I'm pretty sure you can find one at Sun Health. No way there isn't a single female urologist somewhere in Washington, D.C.—it's a huge city.😁 Easiest thing to do? Just call around to some local clinics—like the Mayo Clinic—and ask.🤷
Timothy Wood38 said:What exactly do you mean by "which ones fall under alprazolam"? I assume you're asking which specific brand-name drugs use alprazolam as their active ingredient. In that case, the ones you listed are exactly right.
It's just because I was reading this article and it said something like "Xanax and other alprazolams..." so it made me think there might be other meds containing it that aren't all exactly the same thing.🤣
"do me a favor and save yourself some embarrassment"
honestly, I really hope you don't end up learning firsthand just how much "the same" they all are
but anyway 👋
@Susan Edwards8 dealing with depression. It didn't even go away after the Lexapro, but hey, at least I'm not a total sociopath anymore 👋 🙂 it just didn't work for me, not even close.
I was taking it because my doctor wouldn't prescribe anything else. In five months, I gained like 20 pounds.
so now I'm looking for something that won't absolutely wreck me. 🙄
wait, what does that even mean?!😕 look, I've taken both—literally used them interchangeably—and they felt identical to me.🤷 seriously, zero difference at all, and I've been on them for years.
I start feeling the chill even when it’s still 78 degrees out. I didn't notice a thing during the heatwave, but the second the temps dipped even slightly, it came crawling back. From what I can tell whenever it hits, I’m running a bit of a low-grade fever—around 99 degrees.
Regarding my thyroid levels, my TSH is a little high. I'm not anemic, though.🤷 Do you think these temperature swings fit with hypothyroidism? Actually, it feels more like something you'd see with hyper.
I’m honestly pretty worried here. My period usually wraps up in about 3 days. This month was the same—it lasted 3 days—but then I’ve been spotting for 3 days straight after that. It’s enough that every time I hit the restroom, there’s blood on the paper. It looks pretty light, too.
Quick question about grabbing a sample for a urine culture. I feel like I just can't nail this "midstream" thing to save my life.🙄 As soon as I get the cup ready, my body subconsciously just... shuts down. Instead of a steady stream, it's more like a slow drip, which isn't really a flow at all. That's going to ruin the test, right?
