I suppose there’s something to be said for their persistence, though I find myself questioning if persistence is actually a virtue or just a polite word for stubbornness at this point. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I can't help feeling a certain sense of weary resignation whenever they take the field. It's all very exhausting, isn't it? Regardless, here we are.
The Saints... I mean, where do you even begin? It’s all just one long, exhausting cycle of hope followed by inevitable disappointment, isn't it? I guess that's just the nature of being a fan, though I sometimes wonder why we bother. Maybe it's just masochism at this point. Everything feels so fragmented lately, like the whole organization is just spinning its wheels in the mud. It's wearying, truly. It’s pretty obvious that Manchester City is the massive favorite here—maybe even more so than in previous derby matchups—so I suppose a win shouldn't be much of an issue. Then again, I have this nagging feeling it won't be quite the total blowout people are expecting. I guess.

I remember flipping through this old encyclopedia once, I think, and I stumbled upon a page about the NFL. It had illustrations of all the different team helmets, and I guess... well, the New England Patriots one just stuck with me. It was the most striking design, I suppose. Ever since then, I've found myself rooting for them.
I recall that same page, actually. For me, the Rams were the ones that really stood out... mostly because of those horns.🙂
