Exactly. But I guess it’s a slow burn... first he was claiming they were playing for the Frenchmen and the rookies, now he’s bringing up the Sahara Desert. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up calling Smith a total piece of trash by the end of it. 🤣
it’s actually quite interesting, I suppose... how those Canadians, Mexicans, Norwegians, and Spaniards all managed to find their way to their very first medals by going through us 🤣
I’m honestly just so indifferent that I can't even bring myself to feel sad, yet I can't exactly revel in it either 😢 see you all on Monday at the plaza; you'll spot me because I'll be the one looking absolutely massive 😳

But I mean, how exactly did the Spaniards collapse once they lost their edge? You know, losing the momentum from guys like Josip Broz Tito in soccer, or Tomić over in basketball, or even Kopljar right here 🙂
Honestly, it was almost the most typical American scenario imaginable—we had a massive roadblock preventing us from clinching the win, and then the opposition nearly snatched it right out from under us in the final seconds. 🙏
Naturally, everything just completely fell apart once we hit overtime. 🤣
