Kenneth Taylor80 said:I just got an email back from FOX regarding why they pulled the WNBA from their lineup. Their response—which was surprisingly quick!—was basically this:
"To whom it may concern, FOX is planning to bring back the series Northern Exposure, and we will notify you in due time once we have a firm premiere date set. Best regards, FOX"
Well, thanks for nothing, I guess.
That’s certainly a detailed way of saying absolutely nothing, but I suppose it doesn't matter since they actually bothered to reply and at least promised to bring it back.🙂
Honestly, this series is pure magic. It feels like stepping into a dream, and clearly, you’re the only one refusing to give it any credit. To me, it’s just warm, cozy, and incredibly relaxing, especially when you get those moments of genuinely thoughtful dialogue or a deep monologue that actually makes you think. I don't understand why that frustrates you so much. And let's be real—it's not the show causing all that friction; it's just that every single one of my posts seems to trigger a massive reaction from you, rather than the content itself
Michael Thomas7 said:This show is an absolute train wreck! It’s just your textbook case of American brainwashing—you've got this tiny little town out in the middle of nowhere, filled with these supposedly "warm and quirky" locals, and then a bunch of funny or awkward mishaps involving our heroes... honestly, it’s just a mountain of clichés that no sane person would actually buy into. It feels like America has been showing its true colors for a long time now. 😉 If you're actually interested in seeing the gritty side of rural America and what "quirky characters" really look like, you should go watch Gummo. 👍
And based on that incredibly "insightful" summary, it’s pretty obvious you haven't actually sat through a single episode.
Amy Walker4 Asks: I honestly feel like I could take most of them on; it’s all just passing like a sudden whirlwind. What a beautiful life it is—filled with my songs and the pursuit of my dreams.I can think of *Ben-Hur* and *Flash Gordon* right off the bat, though I’m sure there are plenty more floating around in the back of my mind that I just can't quite grasp at the moment. Right now, those two specifically stand out because they bring back such vivid memories of being a little girl, sitting in front of the TV watching them spin through the screen during the Christmas season.
I need to quote my own post because I just caught an ad on PBS announcing they’re going to air those two movies... I think it's on the 29th, though I haven't confirmed the exact date yet. If I'm not mistaken, they'll be showing even more classics too. Honestly, I am just so incredibly happy about this!🙂
I’m fairly certain there are many more of us out there, especially if we only stumbled upon two of you just now... and by the way, you aren't being funny, not even a little bit.
I can think of so many classics; movies like *Twister*, *It's a Wonderful Life*, *My Melodies, My Dreams*, *Ben-Hur*, and *Flash Gordon*... there are certainly more, but I just can't recall them all right this second. Honestly, the ones I'm craving most right now are those specific films that I remember playing on repeat back when I was a little girl, especially since they always seemed to be airing on TV during this cozy Christmas season.
That’s wonderful, thanks so much Jesse Jones10 and quietwolf69... I’m going to head over and take a look, then I'll get back to you both to let you know if I managed to track them down.
Amy Walker4 said:Hey everyone, I could really use some help here... does anyone know if there’s actually a way to pick up a pair of jeans without having to pay a security deposit upfront?

I always find myself drawn to sketching out designs for things that you just can't find anywhere else in a store, and that’s exactly how I feel about these jeans. It’s like there's this internal pull toward the rare and the unfindable; once these become mass-produced and available on every single street corner in America, they probably won't hold quite the same magic or spark my interest as much as they do right now.🤷
Hey, can anyone help me out here? I’m trying to figure out if there's anywhere I can actually pick up some jeans without having to pay a security deposit upfront.🙂
