It hits Netflix on December 4th, following a limited theatrical run in late November to ensure it stays in the hunt for an Oscar.

The trailer should be dropping any day now. Expectations are through the roof, especially after hearing what Aaron Sorkin had to say about it:

I honestly think Inter Miami CF is going to end the New York Yankees' stranglehold on the league next year. I also see Manchester City FC reclaiming their title in the USA, and Real Madrid will likely take home the Premier League trophy. The rest is pretty much a foregone conclusion.

The directing was absolute garbage, but I still love the guy. He’s got a solid filmography if you actually look at his list. Personally, my top picks are Raising Arizona and Adaptation.

The more dynamic and danceable the music, the better I feel when I'm drinking. Maybe the 80s were just the best era for it.

Grizzly Man is pure genius. I think I’ve seen a couple of his other films, but honestly, the memories are a bit fuzzy.

I recently watched American Made. It was a bit too much hand-holding for my taste, but the story itself is interesting. Generally speaking, Tom Cruise picks solid movies; he rarely misses, unlike with The Mummy. He’s a total blockbuster machine.

As for Marvel, they've got a mixed bag. Ragnarok is actually a hilarious comedy (Korg is a legend), The Winter Soldier is basically a top-tier spy thriller (plus, it's got that Redford vibe), but Thor: The Dark World is straight-up garbage. Period.

When Taika is directing, he brings a great sense of humor. Personally, I think What We Do in the Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople are fantastic films. The latter (Jojo) feels a little childish to me, but it isn't bad. Actually, news just broke a few days ago that he'll be directing and writing new Star Wars films. Honestly, that might actually turn out well.

Who is forcing you to watch them?

I watch these movies—sometimes even in theaters—because they can be fun blockbusters. I’m not some fanboy, and I don't consider them the pinnacle of cinematic art. But sometimes you just want to switch your brain off and relax. You can stick to European or Asian cinema, or those few directors still working in Hollywood who can actually pull off a good film, but I don't get why you couldn't enjoy a superhero movie if it's solid. Honestly, Marvel has some great stuff, even if they are starting to feel repetitive. As far as I recall, you aren't exactly a huge fan of Schwarzenegger or Stallone or those old-school action icons, right? How many similar low-value flicks have they churned out? A mountain of them, or the whole Fast & Furious franchise. I’d say those are even lower quality than the current Marvel movies, but whatever.

When it comes to Sci-Fi, my favorites lately have been Arrival and the new Blade Runner. That's why I'm looking forward to the new Dune since it's the same director; I really hope it comes out this year despite COVID-19.

If we're talking about other greats, Edge of Tomorrow, District 9, Ex Machina, and Moon are also pretty good. I think Interstellar is masterpiece-level in certain parts, though it irritates me how Christopher Nolan feels the need to explain everything; some of the dialogue between characters in his films is just plain stupid. Still, that movie is much better than Inception, which is probably the biggest cinematic scam ever, alongside The Dark Knight Rises.☕

The guy probably led in pretty much every statistical category out there. Seriously, give me any player in history—even a 21-year-old Jordan—and they wouldn't be able to take those two games off the Golden State Warriors with that Cleveland Cavaliers squad.

Fine, but that was the first time the Warriors had ever made the Finals. That 2016 squad was a much more formidable unit once they actually found their rhythm, so the achievement carries more weight there, even if you want to nitpick certain details. I’ll give him credit, though. Then again, he had nothing to lose back in 2015; there just wasn't that kind of pressure in that specific series.
