I think there might be a little bit of a mix-up here... I don't actually care for Mortal Kombat, but I absolutely adore Bruce Lee!
Anyway, why does it feel like nobody even cares that I was evacuated from the theater???? Now how am I ever going to find out what happened next in the story?
Um, this isn't really a chat room, you know? Can't you see we're all here talking about movies and famous actors and those amazing cinematic experiences! 😁
Haha! You see, Steven Ruiz, it turns out I’m not the only one with a massive collection of total trash movies...
Man, I definitely remember Dudikoff too, but let's be honest, Ralph Macchio was the absolute heartbreaker for me...
I can't even tell you how many sleepless nights I spent just staring at his poster hanging right above my bed. Seriously!
Anyway, I was finally sitting down to watch "The Two Towers," and I was right in the middle of it—having just polished off all my popcorn (including a little handful for Mickey, of course)—and just as Aragorn was remembering Arwen, a siren started blaring in the theater and they evacuated everyone because of a bomb scare. And so... now I have no idea what happened next... Nothing is going my way today. Oh, and I also missed Snow White on TV because I decided to head to the cinema, which turned out to be a complete waste of time... 😠
By the way, ruggedjackal46, are you coming by tomorrow?
I have it. 😁
I'm heading to the theater right now. I'll definitely grab a big bucket of popcorn and have a bite for you too...
I think I’ll just blast some Christina Aguilera on the stereo and pop The Karate Kid into the DVD player... unless you can come up with something even better... 😁
Wait, what??? 😲
I’d say I’m more of a selective consumer...
Um... let's call it a connoisseur of consumerism... 🙄 😁
I’ve always got plenty of time for Hollywood, but as for those weird tastes of yours...🙂
Hehe...
I honestly can't believe you aren't a fan of The Karate Kid... oh man... your poor kids... You might actually have to send them over to my place once in a while so they can finally get some exposure to decent music and actually watch some quality movies... 😁
Oh, right... now that I think about it, I’ve realized I actually have a soft spot for those old Hollywood musicals too... you know, the ones where everyone just bursts into song and dance right in the middle of a high-stakes drama... even when it makes absolutely zero sense... I just love how vibrant and colorful everything gets, with all the flashy costumes and everyone acting so joyful... even if the whole plot just goes completely out the window... 😁
That’s not true at all! You can clearly see I've developed some great taste in movies lately, whereas before I was just as indecisive as you were... hehe. 😁 😉
You’re such a sweetheart. This version feels so much better... 😘 👋
By the way, Mickey, I actually studied media, including film studies, among other things. Ha ha... so you can see why I think that way... 🙂
Why don't you just start a whole new thread with this same title so we can have our own little space to debate your boring, pretentious flicks versus my vibrant, colorful masterpieces... 😁
Bring back the old title, I'm begging you!
I mean, how are fans of The Karate Kid supposed to even know where to go to leave a review when you’ve given this thread such a pretentious title that they won't even bother clicking on it, let alone watching the movie...
Seriously, please, just change it back! 🙏
Of course they don't get old for me! Every single movie feels like a whole new experience... And please, give me back my title before I lose my mind!
The title is "The Karate Kid"
Oh, come on, you’re clearly getting in on the action in this thread too! Besides, I already shared my thoughts on your Little Red Riding Hood and declared it an absolute masterpiece...
So why the sudden attitude?

But anyway, Mickey... once I started this whole thread about The Karate Kid, you actually saw your post count jump up by 16 extra posts!
Since things are looking so good, I think I'll go ahead and start some more topics about our favorite movies and singers, because the forum just feels so much more alive when we're all chatting like this...
Yuck! 🙂

I just love it when a movie is full of vibrant colors and really hits all the right notes... I'm talking about those massive explosions... sweet romance... stylish outfits... and creatures so well-designed they actually make me jump out of my seat in pure shock... oh, and I absolutely adore animation too... and... honestly, none of that matters without a huge bucket of perfect popcorn, you know, the sweet and salty mix... 😁
Oh, absolutely... Casper is just as much of a masterpiece. I honestly don't know how I could have let that slip my mind for a second...
🙄
But hey, Mickey, at least my kids will actually be able to enjoy movies in peace without some critic sitting right next to them, suffocating the fun by nitpicking camera angles, set design, or deep existential themes.
And once I catch The Karate Kid today, I’m heading straight to the theater to grab the largest bucket of popcorn available, sink into a comfy recliner, and just happily munch away while watching The Two Towers... you know, just pure, wholesome entertainment without feeling the need to overanalyze everything...
Please! My Ralph could take down your Arnold with just one finger!
Hi, sensei! 😎 😁
No way! You finally took down that edit!
You’re such a strange wedding guest, aren't you?
Either you can't stand The Karate Kid or you've got some really bizarre taste in music, but if you actually started listening to my playlist, you'd be unstoppable...
😎 😁
Did you seriously just edit your post???
I'm gonna kill you...
But anyway... The Karate Kid is absolutely a masterpiece and easily the best movie from the entire eighties! 😎
