I am actually going to die laughing over this...😁 😁

Whatever works for you, Janica. Personally, I thought the movie was great regardless of what anyone says about the original...
I mean, I'm not going to spend my whole life obsessing over the originals... I already did enough of that over on "The Ring" thread... 😉 😁

Wow, Brena was such a stunner... I mean, she looked absolutely incredible back in the day rocking those vibrant, colorful mini dresses...😁

Wait, what are we actually thinking here? Are we supposed to suggest movies that came out just this year, or can we pick anything from any era?
And what happens after we turn in our picks?

Alright, here’s my list for now.... I’m thinking Solaris, and then maybe... um... that one movie from Brazil (honestly, I am just feeling so much love for Brazilians lately 😁 😉 )... City of God.... oh, and we could also do The Ring (the American version, but only if they show both The Ring and The Ring 2 plus the original Japanese version) and that's pretty much everything for the moment... I can't be bothered to try and remember more right now...

So, what's your move? I've already spilled everything there is to say about the movie, George, and aviation. You really don't have anything left to throw at me... 🙂

Wait, would you say that falls under the umbrella of folk music?
And I mean, what specific subgenre are we talking about here? Is it more along the lines of turbo-folk, classic country, or maybe something else entirely?... 😁

Hey, wait, does anyone else remember that one song...

"Little mrroooov, little mrroooov
hiding deep insideeeee
Oh, if I could just find him
so we can change our destiiiiiny"

🙂 😁

And Mike, please stop deleting things, because I really want us to have a real discussion here about our national treasures...

Hey there, slyrider16, hope you're doing great!
So, what's the deal with Avjon? I just love talking like this, you know, a bit more casual and down-to-earth... at least everyone seems to get me, right?

slyrider16 said:Hey Steven Ruiz, tell us, how many people actually walked out of the theater while you were watching it? 🙂

Not a single soul... they just couldn't find the chance. I was busy catching a flight over to Chicago...
😁

By the way, over in the States, people were definitely storming out of theaters because the studio marketed this thing as some high-octane, guns-blazing sci-fi action flick, so when they realized what they actually signed up for, they were pretty disappointed...
🙄

But why skip over him now? What on earth is wrong with George, seriously??? He’s such a fantastic actor, and honestly, he’s just absolutely incredible at what he does. Leave him alone, he's a total class act!😁

No, seriously, it wasn't just some trick of the light or a hallucination... George is actually in the movie!

I just feel like remakes can sometimes turn a perfectly good movie into a total disaster. Take something like The Lord of the Rings, for instance... those guys went ahead and messed with the ending, and it just felt off. I mean, don't get me wrong, the movie isn't necessarily terrible, but the original version is just on an entirely different level compared to the remake...

I know, you big dummy!
It’s from Andrei Tarkovsky.
What do you think? That I just spent my days sitting around doing nothing, huh?...
🙂

Has anyone else had a chance to see this yet? If you haven't, you really should go watch it right now.
I absolutely loved the movie! Honestly, with all the media hype and noise surrounding this release, I was bracing myself for some loud, over-the-top sci-fi nonsense, but it turned out to be nothing like that at all.
It’s a bit of a slow burn, sure, but it really gets under your skin in the best way possible, and I found the way they explored themes like God (as a form of energy), mortality, and the nature of memory to be just so incredibly beautiful...
Do yourself a favor and check it out. 👍

I'm heading out to the airport right now to pick up my brother, and then we’re probably going to hit up the mall for a bit... I'll catch you guys later!
It would be much better if there weren't any more threads about women's soccer or similar nonsense on Fashion when I get back... 🙄

Come on over!
I’ll be waiting for you with open arms!
😁

Honestly, if they didn't kick you off the moderator team, I don't know what they were thinking, especially since you clearly have zero clue about movies! 🙄 🙂
It's all just some random stuff lately... Like, where is The Karate Kid, or American Ninja Warrior, or even Little Red Riding Hood?
If it weren't for me, this whole subforum would be a complete disaster... Tstststs...😁

Hey now, Steven Ruiz, maybe I should just open a thread like this over on the Music forum too, don't you think?
It seems like everywhere I show up, interest just starts spiking!
I haven't quite decided what I'm going to sing for you today, but don't you worry one bit, it's going to be great! I take my time picking out the perfect tracks from my stereo system...
And as for how I look... well, you don't have to imagine anything... there's a photo right here. 🙂

Where on earth are you headed before the big game???
I’m still stuck here in London... and let me tell you, the sun is definitely not making an appearance... actually, it's just pouring rain and it already feels like nightfall out here.
But anyway... what if I decided to sing you one great song every single day right here in this thread?
😁

I honestly can't believe you still have the guts to push back like this!!! 😳 🙄
Well, I guess this is officially your most popular topic yet... and ever since I joined the "Film" group, your little corner has blossomed into this incredible hub of art, deep debates, and all sorts of other wonderful chaos
It’s a total renaissance!...
