Brain fog: Is it just me?

I’ll walk into another room with a specific purpose, only to stand there completely blanking on why I went in there. It might not sound like a huge deal, but it happens multiple times a day now and it's starting to get on my nerves. Keep in mind I'm only 15, and according to everything I've read online, this is supposed to be an old person thing, not something happening to someone my age. I'm stuck writing down my to-do list ten times a day just to function, and I'm pretty much over it. My question is, can this actually be treated? Is it genetic, or what? Just help me out. 😢 😢
I honestly don't know. If you ask me, it sounds like typical puberty brain fog. When I was 16, I couldn't remember anything either. I'm turning 17 in two months, and while things have improved slightly, the forgetfulness hasn't totally gone away...
