I only attempted that search twice. Both times I ended up losing my temper because you tend to mess everything up, for yourself and everyone else... Looking back, I think I was being a bit too self-important at the time. To be honest, the second time around was much worse than the first, so I haven't tried it again. I’d suggest you take the same approach. If you ask me, though, I can tell you which one of you is my clone... 🤷 🤷 🤷

Every time you guys run those IP address searches, the server crashes. I keep getting hit with 503 errors, and I know I'm not the only one on here dealing with it.

Here in the States, plenty of orthopedic surgeons deal with these kinds of deformities all the time, and globally speaking, getting them corrected is pretty standard practice. There are actually a bunch of different ways to handle it, too—ranging from non-surgical options to, in really extreme cases, just removing the toes that are causing all the trouble, which usually makes things feel a lot better afterward. One of the newer methods involves a partial amputation where they remove the middle section of the toe and then reattach the top part, which basically just shrinks the whole thing down significantly. These kinds of procedures (even the more radical ones) are actually pretty straightforward and have a quick recovery time, so I guess there's really no reason to avoid them if they're actually necessary.

Last night, a man died about 25 feet away from me. He died. And here I am, worrying about little toes. Even if they are unsightly, it's such an insignificant matter that all I can really do now is 🤦.

So, I just sent this description over to rapidheron2 in a private message. I figured it wouldn't hurt to post it here as well...

They aren't exactly tiny. The issue is really about their placement. If all the other toes follow a certain direction, my pinky toe decides to veer off at a 20° angle. It pushes the inner side outward, so it just sticks out... On top of that, the nails grow strangely; they’re thick, brittle, and just completely messed up. Since my shoes are usually too tight, they often look bruised, and I end up getting blisters quite frequently. Like I mentioned in another thread, it feels as if all the other toes are following a curve, while this one insists on being a rebel and doing its own thing...

Maybe I am overthinking this, but here we go: this guy from rapidheron2 keeps sending me PMs claiming the surgery is incredibly simple and that I won't run into any issues (most likely), and that I might even come out ahead.

I mentioned to him that my biggest issue might actually be that I can't wear normal shoes because they're too tight. And we all know how much women love shoes. 😢 For instance, even some Converse would be a bit too snug for me. It always seems to happen where they split right by the pinky toe after just a few months. It was honestly terrible looking. I had to toss them after six months because they were full of holes. My feet are just monsters...

I’m not joking; I know exactly how ridiculous this sounds. I came here hoping to find some actual helpful information, but instead, I mostly just got told, "Don't be an idiot." My first instinct was to think, "You just don't get it," but then I sat with it for a moment. Maybe they have a point. Given my personality, even if everything gets fixed and I end up with the most perfect feet in the world, I’d probably just find something else to obsess over. It might actually be a good idea to sit down with a therapist...

Anyway, I just walked to the grocery store wearing flip-flops and nothing bad happened at all. You just have to take it one day at a time. (At least until someone else decides to comment on what the hell is going on near my toes.)

It seems someone wasn't reading carefully. 🙄 I already have a nail polish trick that ruins the nail—making it look "not too bad." But ruining the entire toe is different. What if I'm wearing flip-flops, huh, genius? How am I supposed to camouflage that?

Thank you. I hope it comes to that, though I've always felt the nail on my pinky toe looked a bit off. Still, it does match the descriptions in that link... 😁

A healthy nail on that toe would certainly improve the overall look of the foot.
