What traits and characteristics would you love to have? in Psychology & Therapy ·
I wish I had some kind of superpower. For instance, when someone starts rambling on about nothing, I’d love to use a little trick to seal their lips shut so they can't open them for a while.
Dealing with difficult people? in Psychology ·
I know him. Some kid is throwing some big party for his birthday... I haven't gone to a single one, even though he invited me. He's my neighbor, so I heard him out on the patio loudly badmouthing our other neighbor—just totally disrespectful. And I know how he acts when that guy is actually around; he’s a complete pushover.

One time he actually chased me down while I was out on my bike. I managed to duck into a side street 🎉 Now he's acting like he's mad at me.

I find these people who chase cyclists to be ridiculous 😂 One lunatic even attacked me at the intersection near the Liszt concert hall. It was pure luck the cops were directing traffic, so I just squeezed through the crowd and got away 😁
Jealousy in Psychology ·
Envy is just what happens when too many similar cliques get crammed into the same space. They don't know what to do with themselves, so they start competing. It's pointless. People are just bored and looking for something to exhaust themselves over.
Does it feel like everyone just wants to be a martyr? in Psychology & Therapy ·
Larry Howard8 said:My depression isn't just coming out of nowhere.
Right now, I'm dealing with these irrational fears,
but my real struggle—back about two months ago
when I was still feeling "normal"—was that I'm
27 years old and I've never even had a boyfriend,
never even been with anyone,
and being stuck in this tiny rural town makes it feel impossible.
Plus, I've been "working on" my senior thesis for two years without
actually graduating, and I’m terrified of growing up and leaving my parents...
yeah, all that stuff.
But then, about two months back, I had a massive panic attack,
and I haven't been the same since.
To be honest, I was already unhappy with myself and
my life before that, I just didn't have these crazy, irrational fears
like I do now.

Look, you aren't to blame for what happened. Don't tell me you think things will stay this way forever. If there isn't an easy fix, you find the hard one. There is always a way out.🙂

So what's your actual problem?

I’ve been skimming through your thread. If I'm not mistaken, you're dealing with depression? That's a completely different issue altogether..

It might look like attention-seeking, but honestly, it feels more like facing actual problems head-on. I just don't have the energy to deal with life right now, so I'm venting here for no reason... 🙂

This movie is fantastic. 👍 I can't stand the sight of George Clooney, but he absolutely nails this role!
