I think I’ll pass, at least for the time being. It’s a bit of a bummer that they don't offer USD as a currency option; honestly, I would have jumped on this much sooner if they did. Ideally, the app should just let you toggle between different currencies with a single click, right? Let me know once it arrives for you.
I’m still waiting on Paul—or at least, I’m holding onto the naive hope that things will finally get moving. I reached out to them back in October, and they gave me some kind of line about everything being ready to go, but despite all that, we're still sitting here with nothing to show for it today. 🤷
It’s been quite a while since I last logged into this account. I finally decided to jump back in today to see if anything had changed, and it looks like they really have moved to those "unique routing numbers," but for some reason, it still isn't showing up under my name. 👎👎
Credentials: Beneficiary name: DiPocket Limited - Client Funds Beneficiary address: 911 Wierzbowa St - Warsaw - Poland Beneficiary bank: Bank Pekao SA - 53/57 Grzybowska St - Warsaw - Poland Routing number USD: PL81124XXXXXXXXX BIC/SWIFT: PKOPPLPW
To make matters worse, I couldn't even get into my account at first. I managed to enter the wrong password three times and ended up getting locked out! The only thing I could do within the app was request a video call, and honestly, they called me through the app in about 20 seconds. It was a woman on the other end—I explained the situation, and she sent a temporary passcode to my phone via SMS. I remember their customer support being pretty solid when I first signed up, too; I ran into a few hiccups during registration, and they were incredibly fast at resolving everything.

The issue is they restrict how you spend your balance—it's strictly limited to actual retail transactions, whether you're shopping online or walking into a store. You can't use their card to top up a Chime account or any other similar service; you'll get an instant notification in the app telling you that the transaction isn't allowed. At first, I thought it was just some glitch or a temporary block within the app, but then their customer support confirmed that this is actually intentional behavior.
The card is a Visa debit Prepaid (available both virtually and physically). The BIN and IBAN are based in Poland, though you share those identifiers with other users. As for currencies, you can choose from USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, and PLN.
By the way, has anyone here tried signing up for Expensify? They are incredibly popular in the States, and they've finally expanded into the European Union, having started shipping cards across the EU earlier this month. They even offer crypto options. Looking at their Twitter feed, it seems like Europeans are absolutely thrilled that they've finally arrived, even if the service isn't a carbon copy of what they offer back in the US...

For larger loans exceeding $1000, the deposit costs just as much as the credit itself if you don't have the patience or the desire to bother someone else to act as your co-signer. Honestly, it’s only worth it to take out $1000, and even then, only if you're a new customer .
I wasn't even transferring funds from credit cards; everything was just moving between my own debit accounts. Honestly, this is such a lifesaver because the money moves from my primary JPMorgan Chase account to any other account instantly. If I had to do it any other way, I’d be stuck waiting several days and getting hit with extra transaction fees on top of it all.
The Cookie notifications on iOS are finally working properly... I'm getting alerts for both incoming transfers and regular messages now. 🙏
Has anyone actually combed through their Terms and Conditions? I'm wondering if it counts as a major violation to open two separate Cookie accounts and just transfer money from one (card) to the other? Over the last couple of days, I’ve moved the maximum amount allowed by my limit ($4,000), and so far, they haven't flagged or blocked me—fingers crossed it stays that way. 🤣 I set up one account on one phone and the second one on another, but since both are under my legal name, they can clearly see it's just me sending money to myself. At this point, the only way to play it is to pretend there are just two different people who happen to share the exact same first and last name, lol.

I ordered a card that's supposed to be free, but the catch is you have to top up $10 first—which stays in your account to spend. But apparently, I got hit with a 2% fee on that transaction.

It’s possible they’re having trouble recognizing that this specific card is from the European Economic Area, much like how PayPal struggles sometimes. Have you tried using a more "traditional" American card instead?
No, I was actually referring to the conductor feature. They temporarily disabled it—or maybe there was just a glitch in the app—but you can request it again once you hit a certain transaction threshold using your Visa card (which is always an option).
That really just depends on which bank you're using and what kind of account package you have. Typically, you'll see it go through $0.67 via a standard wire transfer.
ironcyclist58 said:Maybe give it a shot using EcoPayz through Curve—assuming you can even get EcoPayz added to the app. Word on the street is that Curve has been messing around with MCCs lately; apparently, the MCC shows up differently when you go through them versus going direct. A few people were complaining about it on Reddit, but honestly, that might actually work in your favor...
It isn't possible—unless they've gone and changed something in the last month or so...
On my Android, I’m not getting anything at all, except for those 3D Secure text messages—but even those don't really count as push notifications. I've used this card everywhere: at the grocery store, making online purchases, even receiving transfers... and absolutely nothing pops up. It's strange because if I check the push notifications tab inside the app, everything is listed there as if it actually arrived, yet I never saw a single alert.
I've double-checked my settings, and every single push notification toggle is turned on.
Exactly—you need a specific card tied to your USD account if you want funds to be pulled from there. Basically, every currency and its corresponding account requires its own card, though they’ll let you grab your first card for any given currency for free. It works just like the setup over at LeoPay. One interesting quirk, though: if you use your USD card to make a purchase in Euros, it just pulls the Dollars, but if you request a refund, those Euros go straight back into your Euro account. 😁
Anyway, I just saw my USD deposit from last night hit. My biggest gripe with the Visa Prepaid Card is that they don't send any notifications at all, whether money is arriving or being spent. The only alert you get is the 3D secure SMS verification, which is a completely different thing entirely. I had similar issues with the notification system on LeoPay, but it was at least somewhat functional.
