I’m pretty sure about that... 😁 I mean, besides, how old are you anyway?
Jomelop is plant-based, so it’s not going to cause any issues... which means you don't have to worry about cramps or anything like that, whether it's near the wound or just generally affecting your body...
Well, look, hair doesn't exactly grow back on scar tissue... so hopefully that settles the debate for you.
Anyway, tell me—are you feeling any cramping around the wound site or dealing with anything else health-wise?
hhhh... maybe the needle was contaminated or something... hhhh... just kidding. Seriously though, just stick to the plan and keep applying that ointment... okay, quick question though... do you actually get hair growth in those three spots?
And look, if it turns out the scarring is going to stay, you’ve got plenty of options—things like cryotherapy, dermabrasion, or laser treatments... just hang in there for a bit and let's see if the cream actually does its job first.
ah... just do exactly what the instructions say... and if you want my two cents... don't mention a word of this to your parents...
Look, when you’re dealing with skin cuts, you're always going to end up with a scar... it's just how it works. You can basically just use warm water like you normally would... then once you're out of the shower, just apply some Jomelop and rub it in... and that's really all there is to it. Just do that every morning and night.
Maybe you should get John to help you rub it in... lol... sorry, I couldn't help myself... 😉
e Jomelop e, it’s actually pretty great... I just wasn't sure if they even had any of that stuff up there... but since it's plant-based, it's packed with vitamin E... which is what you're looking for, right? Anyway, I once knew a patient where the entire scar from their kidney transplant just completely vanished...
Look, Douglas Ortiz94, that’s just how skin behaves when you go carving names into it... I don't know... all you can really do is hang tight and wait to see if it fades out over the next couple of weeks. You should probably grab some scar cream—maybe something like Mederma. It’ll probably run you around ten bucks or so at a CVS or Walgreens. Just check with a local pharmacy first to see if they have it in stock. Just make sure there aren't any scabs or open wounds left; from what I can tell in the photo, you seem okay on that front. Keep us posted on how it looks, alright? And definitely let us know if things start looking worse than they do now.
Man, it looks like he was actually heading in for a tattoo session... lol... honestly, just let him keep it that way... hhhh... sorry, Douglas Ortiz94, that was probably rude of me... but seriously, the whole thing is just hilariously insane 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Alright... what on earth did you do to yourself? It looks pretty swollen to me... I don't see any bruising or blood under the skin, and there isn't any redness either, which is a good sign—no obvious inflammation. But honestly, it looks a bit thicker than how you described it... and you're telling me this has been sitting like this for how many days now?
Whatever... everyone deserves a little comfort now and then. It might seem trivial to you, but for someone else, it could be the one thing keeping them afloat...
Okay... look, if it’s actually under the skin, then we aren't just talking about a surface scratch here. I mean, I don't know... it probably won't kill you on its own, but that clotted blood needs to get out of your system. If it stays trapped, you're looking at a potential infection down the road. There isn't some magic cream you can just rub on to fix that; if it's sub-dermal, it has to drain. You can post photos here if you want—plenty of people do—but if you're feeling a bit shy about it, just hit me up via DM or email at dvasilj@gmail.com...
I suppose some people go through life walking around with actual bullets lodged in them, so I guess you'll survive a little internal bruising, too.
Look, I’m telling you, I need to see what we're actually dealing with first... or just head straight to the doctor... though they'll probably just end up digging it out with a needle anyway...
hmm... is it possible there’s some clotted blood trapped under that healed skin? If that's the case, you might actually need to have it cleared out... but honestly, I'm wondering... just how deep did you actually cut yourself?
Alright, so is this just some redness, or is there actually blood under the skin? Haha... maybe toss up a photo so we can finally solve the mystery of this red patch... plus, I'd love to get a good look at those legendary marks of honor and bravery you're sporting. 🙂

Look, if your ASL is actually elevated, we're talking some kind of strep situation here... honestly, most online searches will just tell you that you were exposed to strep, but since you’ve got those other symptoms too... did your doctor put you on antibiotics yet? If they did, do yourself a favor and grab some immune support. Antibiotics can really wreck your system, leaving you feeling pretty wiped out. Maybe pick up some of those Emergen-C drops or something similar.
Alright... there’s really no need to overanalyze it anymore. The wound isn't open, so we're past that stage. Now it’s just about dealing with the redness, and honestly, you've got two ways to play it: the quick fix or the slow burn. The fast way is just to slather on some ointment or lotion. The long way? Just stick to regular showers and let time do its thing—it'll fade eventually. Either way, it's totally safe, and that redness is definitely going to clear up.
stormyheron20 said:Just be careful where you're doing that. Imagine if someone catches a glimpse of you massaging your chest with "John" carved into your skin while you're covered in oil.

Okay, okay, settle down, drama queen...

But seriously... it’ll clear up soon. Stop rubbing alcohol on it. Just grab some decent skin balm or maybe some Floyd or something similar from the drugstore... those things actually work wonders for redness.

It’s not like they stopped making it, it’s just that they don't import the powder version anymore. They still bring in the spray, but honestly, I don't think that's going to do you much good... I can't quite remember the name of the ointment, though... there's one they use on boxers to get those cuts from punches to stop bleeding fast. But look, if it's been three weeks and it hasn't healed, you really ought to go see a doctor. Three weeks is way too long for a wound to be sitting there like that.
Hospitalija on Ilica... honestly, you can find similar setups over in Austria too. There used to be a Hospitalija around here, and there’s Stoma Medical right by the transit hub, but if you're looking to save some actual cash, you might want to give a place like Lada or something similar a shout. They tend to be way more budget-friendly.
At Hospitalija, you’re probably looking at a bill somewhere around 150-$67...
