Why on earth wouldn't you want to know the gender??? Is the concept even foreign to you? Are you people alright?
Every single reaction is identical whenever we say we aren't interested in knowing...
And then comes the inevitable bewilderment. 🙄🙄
It honestly drives me crazy how everyone—whether they actually know me or not—feels the need to call me "sweetie" in person...🙂
And naturally, nobody ever offers me their seat on the bus or lets me cut ahead in line. I just end up standing there looking like a total amateur.😢

Why the refusal? 🤣Send her my way. My husband won't even go to Target to grab anything because he's terrified I'll gain too much weight...
Joseph Wells81 said:Honestly, what gets under my skin more than anything else right now is this acne. I am dealing with such a massive breakout—it’s like I’ve been thrown straight back into the worst parts of puberty—and I have absolutely no clue how to fix it. Everyone keeps talking about that supposed pregnancy glow and having perfect skin, but clearly, that isn't happening for me.
Same thing happened to me, but mostly at the start. It's fine now, though it's still sensitive to the touch... I've always had skin issues, so it really stressed me out then.
It’s incredibly irritating how everyone feels entitled to give me unsolicited diet advice. My mother-in-law actually had the nerve to ask why I was eating chocolate. I’m eating it because I want to.😳
Sure, come on over 😁 I just got up and told her she can deal with her own mess; I'm done wasting my energy on idiots.
What surprised me most is how easy this pregnancy actually is. All those old ladies and neighbors predicted I'd be struggling, but it’s been surprisingly smooth. I do get some weird looks when I'm out walking, though. Not sure why being pregnant is such a spectacle—maybe it's because I look way too young for it. People probably think I'm fifteen.
One acquaintance’s reaction really caught me off guard. She goes, "I had no idea you got married. Is it someone else? Because your husband looked like he was terrified of the idea of marriage." 😲 I just stood there. She didn't even seem embarrassed to say it, and then she added that he'll finally grow up now that the baby is coming.
In pain again today. I took two Voltaren tablets this morning and felt better for maybe fifteen minutes before it all came rushing back. Now I’m just lying here feeling like I might pass out. Currently on my laptop looking for alternatives to these pills. Anyone know anything? 😢
I'm looking for a dermatologist—someone who actually takes the time to listen and can finally get my acne under control. Private practice is perfectly fine.
🙂
Do you think eyelid twitching is just stress? Because I'm definitely dealing with that right now.

I bet Pilates and yoga do the exact same thing for your head. Since I'm already used to yoga, I'll probably stick with that. Tried Pilates once, but the breathing felt all wrong—totally unnatural to me. 🙂
It's just habit.
My body—or maybe just my brain—develops these little nervous tics whenever stress hits a breaking point. I bite my lips, pull at my hair strand by strand, and I just can't sit still. On top of that, even the smallest things make me burst into tears. My temper gets short, too; I’ll end up breaking things around the house. There’s this constant sense of anxiety and jitteriness. Usually, I’m not like this, so once these symptoms show up, I know the stress has officially taken over and I need to slow down. Most of the time, it happens completely unconsciously.
And yeah, insomnia and slight weight loss are a given.
🙂
I’ve been doing Pilates for two years now. My psychiatrist actually suggested it to help manage my mental health and stress levels, and honestly, it’s made a world of difference. That one hour in class is my way of venting; it feels like all the tension just evaporates. On days when I can feel the stress starting to pile up, I just head out for a walk to clear my head. Good luck 👍
Any recommendations for a gynecologist in Washington, D.C.? Ideally looking for a woman.
Cognitive behavioral therapy was my lifeline. I was on medication, sure, but it was the psychotherapy that actually pulled me through. Having a top-tier psychiatrist helped, and I eventually started connecting the dots and doing the work myself, but none of that would have happened without the therapy sessions.
I’d highly recommend looking into it. Good luck. 👍
Sam Hall15 said:Honestly, the smartest move would be to call 911. It could be vasovagal syncope, but we can't rule anything out—low blood sugar seems less likely here. You absolutely need to rule out an arrhythmia; there’s something called Adams-Stokes syndrome that sounds like it might match your description perfectly. Which part of your back was hurting, and what did the pain feel like? Given that you also hit your head, an ER evaluation is definitely necessary...
I didn't call 911; I felt fine afterward. The pain was like a cramp—it hit one spot and became so intense I couldn't move. It still hurts a little. Seeing a doctor today. thanks.👍
Something incredibly strange just happened to me. I went to lie down for a nap, slept for about three hours, and woke up feeling perfectly fine. I grabbed my laptop and sat down at my desk to write something when, out of nowhere, I hit this intense back pain and a wave of lightheadedness—exactly like that feeling right before you pass out. Then came the heat, the nausea, and boom... I woke up on the floor. I probably slammed into the desk or chair because I’ve got a lump on my head and a bruise on my side. My back hurts too, though not excessively.
I don't usually have back issues, and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. So now... I have no idea what that was. 😕
Should I leave everything as it is or try something else? I'm home alone right now... I can't exactly get to a doctor this second.
