Look, I’m not complaining. Like Balašević would say, "I agree, yeah, I totally agree."
If everything stays perfect for too long, it usually means trouble is brewing—especially in a place like this.
Posts just vanish. They disappear like people vanishing during a war zone. And it isn’t even because of anything offensive, like being rude or spamming or whatever. It’s simpler than that: you just happen to touch a nerve with some "superior" moderator. Then suddenly, it’s all, "just so you know who's in charge here."
But then there’s the other issue—the server and this whole rigid hierarchy don't exactly treat everyone equally. I can't change my font color or format my text the way I actually want to. And if I try to use bolding or anything similar, the auto-correct just goes off like good grief.
So, that's the deal. I'm not whining. Let the big shots keep being incredibly proud of themselves. I'll just keep my peace of mind.

Each strike carries a specific point value, and once you rack up enough points (like hitting 100), you automatically trigger a three-day ban and stuff like that. And no, there’s no way to delete your strikes.
Alright, fine, if that's how it's gotta be.
At least my signature looks better though.
It's Swedish.

Man, I feel like I’ve tried that a million times already, but they just keep popping back up. It's like... there.
And honestly, I didn't even open those threads, nor was I ever banned from them.

Hey there. 🙂
So, come on... do we seriously need to start praying now?
The admins. Can someone just delete this? I can't seem to figure out how to do it myself.
Why is that thing hanging there on my profile? I can't tell if it's showing up because of some recent commendations, a warning, or maybe even some old-school crime from way back.
"So... horse for sale."

I really want to just wipe out my Most Recent Violations. But I'm stuck. How do I actually do that?
[QUOTE=Kyle King4;19009066]you'll get used to it 😁
Honestly, it’s not even that bad. You’re going to meet a ton of cool, interesting people, so it won't just be the same five guys constantly spamming this thread to pump up their post counts 👍
I wouldn't go so far as to call the generational divide on this forum—not that I actually used the word—as some kind of discrimination. I was just pointing out the young lions, those kids who hit their first real taste of adulthood and suddenly think they're the first people to ever look up at the stars. They don't realize there’s no one coming after them, either. And they aren't part of that solid ground that's constantly crumbling piece by piece into the ocean. One day, someone’s going to look at them on this forum and wonder, "Why on earth are you even here at your age?"
If someone is good enough at playing the game—mastering the rhetoric and the dance moves during a themed debate on the forum—you can feed that young lion all the empty praise you want as a sort of placebo. It works right up until the moment they hit a massive age gap wall. That's when everything flips: you become smart-stupid, beautiful-ugly, old-young, and so on.
But honestly, the generational divide hits hardest in a family setting. Like, God forbid a daughter—who already thinks she owns the universe—walks in on her mother caught up in some intense, passionate sexual foxtrot. Total nightmare! Like, have you no shame? You're that old, why are you doing that? Where did you even learn that?
She’s my girl—our girl, really. I got banned. It was basically like, "What are you even doing on this platform at your age?" And honestly, it wasn't even because I was being annoying or throwing shade at the topic we were discussing. It was just this blunt, heavy realization of how old I actually am.
Everything happens for a reason, I guess. Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick intro here. I guess I'll start things off with a little bit of a preface before I dive into the deep end.Honestly, the same thing happened to me. It’s that specific kind of feeling you get when a kid drops their favorite toy and it shatters right in front of them—that instant, desperate urge to just pick up all the pieces and try to glue them back together immediately.
I’m just gonna throw this out there right in the headline. If we haven't really put a label on this thing yet—or if we’re still waiting to find a better way to describe what’s actually happening here—I honestly think I’ve found the perfect term for it. I'd call it... So, I’ve been seeing people talk about K syndrome lately, and honestly, it’s kind of wild how much it gets under my skin. It’s one of those things that feels like everyone has an opinion on it, yet nobody seems to actually get what it’s doing to the vibe of the conversation. I guess I’m just being cynical, but there’s definitely something off about how it plays out in these threads. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it feels like once it starts, you can't really stop the momentum of it. (K as Charles).
Why though?
It’s going to happen just like Hemingway described—that moment when a chunk of the mainland just breaks off and slides into the ocean, and we won't even realize what happened until we notice there's less land beneath our feet.
Honestly, at my age, I’m either totally oblivious to how much time has passed or I just flat-out refuse to care. And honestly, who actually wants to be self-aware about that stuff? I guess I just spend my time staring at those trees I planted back when I was just a kid in middle school, checking to see how much they've actually grown.
Maybe some new Reddit user just signed up this very second, totally oblivious to the fact that K syndrome has been around forever. I bet they’ll be wandering around in confusion for a while, wondering "who bell..." every time they stumble upon it.
I mean, anything goes at this point, right? Even these ridiculous, messy duels where everyone just starts scattering everything everywhere like it’s back in our sophomore year of college.
It’s kind of a moot point, honestly, since you already agreed that consciousness is ETERNAL.
😕 But wait, do you actually think the brain is eternal too? [/B]
Personally, I’ve always been more drawn to the word "soul" than "consciousness." I feel like when I talk about a soul, I can say it’s hurting, or that it's rich, or even that it's destitute.
To me, a "rich" soul isn't just about being happy all the time; sometimes it's about carrying enough grief and pain to reach the absolute limit of what a person can endure.😉
Wait, isn't there an American distinction between terms like to smoke, to get smoky, or to be filled with smoke?
Like, just "smoking" or "having a smoke"... I feel like that's a completely different vibe altogether.
Non-smokers waiting for Godot
It’s a three-star establishment.
The restaurant and the cafe bar are split into separate areas. In the dining room, you won't find any ashtrays sitting on the tables; they all keep them tucked away on one specific side table. If a guest reaches for a cigarette without thinking twice, the waiter politely rushes over with an ashtray instead of actually telling the person, "Hey, you can't smoke here."
Now, in the cafe bar, the better row of tables—the sunny spot overlooking the parking lot—is meant for non-smokers. But a group of managers just goes ahead and moves an ashtray from another table to their own so they can light up. In this area, the waiter actually does his job and warns them that smoking isn't allowed, but they just ignore him. The waiter stands his ground and refuses to serve them because of the smoking. The guests storm out, throwing out comments about how they'll just head to the next place where they can smoke freely.
The next day, the owner of this "starred" establishment pulls the waiter aside for a serious talk and basically threatens him: "Do you actually think you're going to earn a paycheck?"
In this particular space, let's just say it right now, there hasn't been any health inspection oversight, aside from maybe during food prep. They just don't show up. They simply don't come.
Sure, inspectors might pop into some business every day, but they only go where their boss sends them (or chooses not to send them).
So, some reporters just dug up this total absurdity where, according to one of our laws, there’s actually no way to penalize someone for breaking that exact same law.
I mean, maybe it doesn't apply to smoking specifically, but it’s still pretty ridiculous—like if you walk into a tiny local coffee shop with just two rows of tables, and somehow it's perfectly fine to smoke at one table but totally forbidden at the next.
I guess when this regulation was first drafted, they were probably just reacting to whatever mess was already happening at the time, but honestly, newer businesses shouldn't even be getting permits under those weird rules.
At the end of the day, smoking isn't really about personal freedom or legal crackdowns; it's more about a person's level of basic decency toward everyone else in the room.
Can someone please just lay it out for me
I honestly think the government agencies wouldn't even be able to function—let alone actually get things done—if they just cut 10% of the staff instead of constantly shuffling people from one department to another. I mean, if everyone working there is truly a top-tier expert or some kind of indispensable genius, then they shouldn't have any trouble finding a decent job in the private sector, right?
Look, we all know Sanders was the first one to point out that the federal bureaucracy is way too bloated.
It’s totally expected that a new administration would bring in some fresh faces, but man, I really hope they don't get too reckless with the taxpayer dollars.
If they start slashing budgets blindly, you can bet the unions will be out there ready to tear them apart.
