Does anyone know if you can actually email a doctor at Mayo Clinic? It’s not listed on their website. My follow-up appointment is still a long way off, but I really need to ask them something. I'm guessing their email addresses follow a standard format, like firstname.lastname... or something along those lines?
Can someone help me out here: I’m getting ready for some abdominal surgery. The thing is, there's a chance my period might hit right around then. Is that going to be an issue? Does the hospital usually push back surgeries if you're on your cycle?
Ethan Mitchell4 - My dad really needs to see a gastroenterologist and get a gastroscopy done. I went through something similar myself, and they ended up diagnosing me with achalasia. It started out with those exact same symptoms, but things just spiraled until it became completely unbearable. He shouldn't sit on this for too long; it's definitely better to find out what's actually going on sooner rather than later.
