I’ve dealt with tons of moles my entire life—it’s basically genetic for me. They show up all over my torso and back in every shape, size, and color imaginable. I’ve had one removed with a laser and two surgically... my dermatologist wants me to come in every six months to a year, but I usually just pop in once a year and everything seems fine. Now that I’m near the end of my pregnancy, they’ve all started changing so much... a ton of new ones popped up, some of my moles actually fell off, a bunch have swollen and darkened, and I even have a few red ones now. Plus, I’ve got that dark line running down my stomach, but honestly, I think that’s all totally normal. My doctor was only really worried about this one tiny little spot that looks a bit different, so I’ve already gone in twice for checkups and have to go back once the baby is two months old. I don't really tan much, but just a heads-up, my doctor says it's okay as long as you use SPF 50 that blocks everything
Eric Cox48 said:Hi everyone. I’ve spent all day scrolling through this forum, but I’m still feeling uneasy. How reliable is a test if taken about a week after the first day of my period?
Here is the situation: I woke up this morning with a headache, but it was unlike anything I've ever experienced. I deal with migraines during PMS—usually involving one bout of vomiting followed by sleep—but today I threw up at least ten times. From the migraine alone, I’ve read enough stories here to realize it varies for everyone. Personally, I haven't noticed any typical pregnancy symptoms; everything feels just like my usual PMS, except my breasts feel slightly larger since my last period. I also have the chills, which hasn't happened to me since I was a kid. My cycles have always been irregular. My second-to-last period was 16 days late, and when it arrived, it was shorter than usual. This most recent one started on July 5th; it lasted essentially one day, mostly just spotting when I went to the bathroom, followed by two days of discharge. I realize these symptoms could be caused by anything, and I don't have that "gut instinct" some people claim to have regarding pregnancy, but the doubt is there. Please help. How accurate would a test be if I took one right now? Or should I wait until my next expected period, which could be another 25 days away?
Nah, you aren't pregnant... it doesn't make sense... based on what you said, that last thing sounds like spotting rather than a period, especially if it was that short, and yeah, a period is one thing, but discharge is something else entirely! Don't count that as your period... I get spotting (brownish marks) all the time, and my OBGYN says some women just deal with certain hormones that way; it's nothing to worry about... but anyway, you definitely should check in with a doctor about any abnormal bleeding, even if it's usually nothing, just so a professional can confirm it... good luck!

It got to the point where I felt like losing my mind right in the middle of a screening 🙏. But I didn't—that would have been ridiculous—instead, I just walked out and 🤮. Napa Valley is essentially one giant pile of junk. I'm completely over the whole Sundance vibe. The films were an absolute d i s a s t e r 🤮 🤮 🤮
P.S. 🤮
🤣 🤣 🤣 wow, such deep and logical reasoning 🙄 🙄 🙄

I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring out the lodging situation, and if we end up staying in a tent, I'm already stressing about hygiene and how comfortable those things actually are... plus, how many days should we stay? And once we get there, how long is the drive from the Napa Valley area to the coast?
Anyway, if anyone here has been to Sundance before, I'd love to hear what you thought about it 🙂
Thanks
it's always such a blast, honestly. If you go the camping route, you'll basically be using cafe bathrooms for everything, and since I really value my comfort, if I were in your shoes, I'd definitely try to snag an apartment with the group. Maybe check online or just Google it? If you can't find anything, maybe just head out there during the day and ask the locals if anyone has a spare room—you'll definitely find something... it's been pretty crowded in Napa Valley lately, so I'm hoping this year isn't too packed so we can actually catch more movies... last year we got totally washed out by the rain....
Hey Maria Wright35, are you or aren't you?😉
Ugh, my period finally showed up, so I am definitely not pregnant...

I think I found a photo of him somewhere..

Oh man, you're totally right! Thanks!!!🙏 😁

😲 😲 😲 man, that's just awful. Honestly, the worst part is she didn't even have to do it—she was gorgeous! I remember all the other characters perfectly, but I just can't for the life of me recall that one chef...👎
oh, I just remembered! There was this genius episode where a real plot actually happens. I think everyone was gathered outside in the snow, and then suddenly they just stop acting and start talking to each other about how they should film the scene to make it look more realistic. It was such a total mess 😍 🙏
I guess the funniest part was that heavy-set Indian Ed, Marilyn, who just kept showing up even though Dr. Fleischmann kept insisting he didn't need a secretary. She basically just ignored him and did whatever she felt like doing anyway...🙏Thinking back, one of the funniest characters was definitely that artist/radio host guy (I think I'm starting to forget his name)
I hope there isn't already a thread for this, I didn't really feel like digging through everything🤣
Man, that show was such an incredible series with absolutely brilliant characters👍 . I actually found myself looking up on Google Earth the other day to see if there’s even a real place called Cicely in Alaska... I can't even remember if there was a second season or if we just never got the chance to watch it here in the States...😈 Do you guys remember how wildly different and eccentric every single character was? And that insane season finale? Honestly, I'd probably start a petition on some major network site just to get them to bring it back onscreen...😛
thanks so much, I've actually never heard of that before, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot👍
thanks girls!
I guess I’ll just tough it out for another day or two, maybe some honey, lemon, and cough drops will do the trick... if that doesn't work, I'll just retake the test and go see my doctor...👍 I really don't feel like dragging myself there for something so silly, but at the same time, it's definitely bothering me...
I’m a little confused, honestly. I’m definitely one of those people who avoids taking tests—I’d much rather just not think about it and then be pleasantly surprised when I realize I'm actually two weeks late...
But I finally took one this morning because my throat is super sore and it's really bothering me. I wanted to take some Klavocin or maybe another antibiotic I have lying around from last time, but I didn't want to risk hurting the baby at all if there actually is one... the test was negative 🙂 though I guess maybe I just took it too early.😛My last period started on May 20th, 2007, and since I've had two cycles following my D&C, things haven't really stabilized yet; my first period was 35 days after, and the second was closer to 45 days... I don't really know much about testing, and I definitely don't have the energy to read through 62 pages of info on the subject, so I figured I'd just ask you guys who actually know what you're doing...🙂
Honestly, that sounds totally normal to me... I used to have a cycle that fluctuated anywhere from 20 to 45 days for years. Little things like a random cold or just general stuff happening in your body that you don't even notice—especially stress—can really mess with it. For me, it always seemed to run late whenever I was stressing out about it waiting to happen. So, maybe just try to relax and not jump straight to thinking the worst about your health. Once you get checked out, they'll probably just have Dabras or some other hormone therapy to get everything back on track. Hang in there!
