Yeah, I actually ended up at the ER after reading this post. They gave me an injection, but honestly? Didn't do a damn thing :S

They'll probably drip some contrast dye in there to see if you've got any surface damage. If they find something—and if you can actually feel it—you'll get treatment and likely be on light duty for a few days. Seriously, don't mess around when it comes to your eyes!
Man, I pushed through it and things calmed down for a bit, but once I took the patch off, the stinging and tearing started right back up xD I guess I'll just wait until tomorrow and see how it goes. 🙂
Alright, look, I got clocked right in the eye by a soccer ball during a game earlier today—around 11 AM—and my eye has been driving me crazy ever since. So, I’ve got a bit of an issue. I play soccer pretty seriously, but lately, every time I go for a big kick, my hamstring starts acting up. If I just take a 10 or 20-minute break after one shot, I feel fine. But if I try to kick the ball again? Man, the pain hits hard—sometimes I can barely even stand, like what happened today... So, I got smacked in the head by some guy’s elbow at the game yesterday—totally "accidental," of course. Right when it happened, my eye and nose started throbbing, and my teeth went completely numb. Even now, my upper gums are still feeling totally frozen 🤷. I went to see my doctor today, and get this: her first question was if I thought I cracked a bone xD. She gave me a referral for surgery and told me I could head over to 😕 if I wanted. Now I'm wondering if anyone else here has dealt with something similar? Should I actually go through with the surgical consult or what? The impact was right on my cheekbone. Thanks 😁
