So, I came down with a fever and some chills yesterday, so I picked up some Vitamin C and Tylenol at the drugstore. However, I’m on Triquilar, and being out of it with the fever, I completely forgot to ask about potential drug interactions.
Now I'm reading the instructions, and it says 1000mg of Vitamin C can increase serum estrogen levels, which might lead to side effects? What does that actually mean in practice? Do I need extra protection this month, or should I just avoid taking it while on the pill altogether?

I've been on Triquilar birth control for three years now. This month, I missed the very first pill in my pack. I ended up taking it a day late, along with my next dose. (I was supposed to take that first pill last Saturday, but didn't get to it until Sunday). Fast forward to today—day eight of the new pack—and I had unprotected sex. He finished inside. Is there a chance of pregnancy? Thanks a lot...

So, I reached out to my gynecologist—well, my sister asked her since my doctor is impossible to get an appointment with... and they told me to just stop taking everything for now and wait until my next period to start the pill. Only problem is, who has time to sit around waiting for a cycle to start! I’m a total wreck. Even when I'm on them, my periods tend to skip a month or two... I mentioned that to her, and she just said to come in for an exam if it's late. Just great. I've been in this spot before where I was convinced I was pregnant, only to find out I was just imagining things... I really hope it’s the same this time. Even though I'm in a long-term relationship with a solid guy, I’m personally not ready for a baby... I'm 21, halfway through my Master's, and everything finally lined up perfectly for my internship... I can't believe this is happening. It's all because I have a million things on my mind lately; my head is just spinning. Hopefully, it'll be fine... 😲

I was supposed to start a new pack of birth control—Triquilar—this Monday, but things got so hectic I completely lost track of time... and I had sex last week like crazy 😢😢😢 What should my move be? Should I just pick up a new pack tomorrow and try to get back on schedule, or what... 🤷

Similar thing happened to me... though mine was milder. When he finishes inside, there's a brief, unpleasant stinging sensation... then it passes, thank Bog... but still. It usually messes with my pH balance and leads to an infection. I actually dealt with vaginosis recently after he finished inside me a few times in a row...

I told my doctor, but she brushed it off and just diagnosed it as vaginosis... Well, I've cleared it up now, but I'm worried about him finishing inside again. Even though I'm on the pill, he pulls out too late sometimes...

Someone mentioned it could be an allergy, but I doubt that's it for me since my reaction is mild and quick... others suggested a yeast infection, so maybe that's what's happening to you. Or perhaps it's just high vaginal acidity... Anyway, go see your gynecologist. Maybe they'll actually give you a real answer. Let us know!😁

With my last pack, things went sideways. I had diarrhea about two hours after taking the pill... followed by vomiting a few hours later. I took the dose around midnight... then the next day, I took another at 1 PM thinking the first hadn't been absorbed, plus another one that evening... basically, I finished the pack a day early, on Thursday instead of Friday. Normally, my period arrives four days after finishing, so Tuesday. But since I shifted everything forward, I assumed it would show up today, Monday... yet nothing? Should I be worried or just wait until tomorrow? My boyfriend didn't finish inside, just to be safe..

Hey, I’m on Triquilar birth control... I took my pill last night
around 11 PM. Then around 1 AM, I dealt with diarrhea... and the nausea just wouldn't quit
and by 5 AM, I was vomiting. I'm worried the pill might not have been
absorbed... Does it make sense to take an extra one now, and then still take my regular dose tonight
to stay on track?? Thanks!

I’ve run into a bit of an issue and wanted to see if anyone here has dealt with this before. Lately, I've been noticing some blood on the toilet paper after having a hard bowel movement. It's been happening frequently enough that I actually grabbed a mirror to check for any cuts or fissures near the anus...
But it turns out the irritation isn't there. Instead, there's a small tear in the skin between the vaginal and anal areas. It feels like a tiny crack that stings whenever it stretches. It usually heals up after a day or two, only to reopen the next time I have a hard stool or if I'm a bit too aggressive with the toilet paper...
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? And would a specific cream be helpful for healing it...😕😛

I've been under the weather for two weeks straight now... First, I came down with strep throat, which happens to me more often than I'd like. My doctor put me on some Zithromax, and let's just say that settled down within a few days... But then the cold hit me right after—constant coughing, runny nose... That part is finally starting to taper off, but I’m still waking up with this heavy, dry cough every morning. I've been taking some NyQuil, and my voice is completely shot... Days are passing, and I'm left wondering when I'll actually feel human again. What are you all dealing with regarding colds during this fall season?

On my second pack of Triquilar, twelve days in... now I've come down with something. Sore throat, likely going to need antibiotics... I know they can interfere with the pill, so I'll have to use backup protection while I'm on them... but is there still a chance I could be pregnant from previous encounters?
