Ovaries: Cysts and related issues [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·

Hey there! You definitely need to dig deeper with more testing to figure out what’s actually driving those numbers up. For some people, it might just be their baseline. It's kind of like how some folks just always run a bit of a fever. A friend of mine had elevated markers too, and they fluctuate all the time, but she went through every single scan and test you can imagine and they couldn't find a thing.
Hey everyone! So, I just started on birth control and since day one, I’ve been dealing with these cramps that feel exactly like my period is about to hit. Has anyone else dealt with this? Looking for some advice—is it totally normal for my body to be adjusting to the pill? Thanks!
Nickel allergy help! in Health ·
Hey everyone! Happy to be joining the "Nickel Allergy Club." I originally went to see a dermatologist because my face was acting up—I’d get these red patches and little bumps that would itch like crazy sometimes. I spent a small fortune on all sorts of soothing creams to fix the redness, but honestly? Nothing worked. Finally, I got tested, and yep, turns out I'm allergic to nickel. My doctor gave me some solid advice: take all those creams and products you use and move them into glass containers. Since I started doing that, my skin has been so much better! Sure, I still get that slight flush sometimes (you know, that embarrassed-blush look, haha), but those annoying bumps are totally gone. It turns out there was actually nickel in the packaging itself! So my skin was basically reacting to the bottles, not just the ingredients. Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps anyone else out there.
