My left side is definitely bigger than my right, though you wouldn't even notice unless you were looking for it—I only realized because whenever I'm shopping for bras, one cup always fits better while the other just squeezes too hard.
And what's actually kind of weird is that whenever I'm dealing with PMS, my left side always starts aching a day or two before the right one catches up.😁
It feels like the older I get, the lighter my periods get, which is wild since I’ve barely even hit my twenties yet.
Now they only last about two days, but they still hit me like a freight train—sometimes the pain is so bad I end up in the ER because I actually pass out.
To make matters worse, I've been told I have a retroverted uterus, and I can't help but wonder if that's what's causing all this chaos.
Nicole Baker said:So, here I am again, hunched over my computer and twisting around trying to find some relief from this pain... this damn menstrual cycle is relentless... 😢 The pills tend to work pretty quickly and help settle things down, though I suppose the longer I rely on them, the more resistant my body becomes to the Ketoral. It’s probably not the most ideal long-term strategy either, given how heavy they are and the potential side effects they might carry... so... if anyone happens to have a suggestion for dealing with these absolutely BRUTAL and DEVASTATING pains in a somewhat healthier way, please feel free to leave it here... thanks.....
You’re lucky you can even sit at a desk. My pain is so bad I'm basically useless. I end up in the ER half the time. Pills don't touch it for me, not even the heavy stuff. The only thing that actually worked was some birth control I took for a few months, but my mom totally panicked about all those horror stories in the news, so I had to stop taking those too.
Karen Ross98 said:So, did you actually take the pill after that happened? I was thinking about doing the same thing, but my OB-GYN—who’s basically an expert in being a total jerk—told me not to because it would completely wreck my cycle and cause other issues.
Wait, are you talking to me?
I didn't take them since I don't think there's even a point at this stage; I'm probably in my non-fertile window anyway. It happened on the 18th and my last period started on the 23rd. For the last three months, my cycle has been consistently 33 days... plus, he didn't even finish inside me.
So I went without a condom yesterday, which was my first time being unprotected... and uh, yeah... he didn't even finish inside (actually, he didn't even finish at all), but now I'm sitting here dealing with all those PMS symptoms—sore breasts, cramps, feeling super moody and irritable—and I’m still spiraling with this irrational fear that I might somehow end up pregnant anyway. I am definitely not doing the unprotected thing ever again, no way, I'm switching to the pill immediately. Someone please just give me some peace of mind right about now 😁

If anyone actually takes precautions, it’s me—I never dream of stepping out without a base layer and a heavy coat in the winter, and I stay far away from anything cold because my period is a total nightmare.
Since I have a retroverted uterus, it’s even worse... I pass out from the pain basically every other month.
And honestly, it still makes zero sense to me how I can be this careful and still suffer like this, while other girls walk around practically naked all winter and feel fine.

Look, if you're telling the truth, maybe you have some kind of anatomical issue, like a tilted uterus or something. 🤷
Or maybe you just caught a cold, or your hormones are completely out of whack.
Could be a cyst, too. I mean, how would we even know?
See, I do have a tilted uterus, but my ovaries don't usually act up like this, so I didn't think that was the culprit. Now my lower back is killing me too... might just be PMS hitting me hard. 🙂
It’s probably nothing major... maybe just a standard cold or some kind of bodily imbalance because you've been eating junk or suddenly switched up your diet or something like that. If you aren't feeling better in 10-15 days, go see a gynecologist.
Walter Myers4 said:Look, I have no clue, but I bet it’s absolutely revolting. It makes sense, though—if he’s walking around with some nasty oral infection, like strep or staph in his throat, and then he passes that straight down there while performing oral... yeah, she’s gonna be feeling that same damn pain he's feeling in his throat, right?
lol nah, we’re both totally fine. we’ve been together 15 months and were best friends for three years before that, so honestly, we know each other better than we know ourselves. besides, we don't really do oral that much—out of the four times we've slept together, we've done it once. either way, we're good, so it's definitely not that.
And we're each other's first.
Man, I was seriously dying today from ovarian pain. My period isn't even due until around March 23rd. I have no clue why it’s hitting me this hard—I couldn't sit down or even walk straight without constantly shifting around... it felt absolutely brutal, like someone had literally tied weights to them.
This is maybe the second or third time it's been this bad, but honestly, I think this is the worst one yet. I went to see my OB-GYN last time it flared up like this and they just told me everything looked fine, no inflammation or anything, but nothing showed up on the tests while I was sitting there losing my mind from the pain.
By the way, I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time at the start of the month and we've hooked up a few more times since, always using protection. So I really don't get what could be causing this.
Has anyone else dealt with something similar?
