Nothing much... you just pay up. They basically tell you "bye-bye money" if you don't show up with a prescription in hand... that's the whole deal...

Would you seriously consider getting some kind of cosmetic surgery done to your BRAIN just for the sake of appearances?😲 Good luck with that...
How to find out your blood type? in Health ·
I actually managed to score mine for free at a college fair at the University of Michigan booth... I just can't recall which 😛
It’s entirely possible that’s what caused it... I actually had to take antibiotics myself following a wisdom tooth extraction, though I didn't experience anything quite like that. However, once I took the next dose—which happened to be around 2:00 AM—I felt absolutely terrible. It was this sharp pain climbing from my stomach up toward my chest; honestly, I thought I was having a heart attack. I ended up stopping the medication on my own, which wasn't exactly the smartest move, but I just couldn't handle it.
Maybe ask a pharmacist if you don't mind asking, at least.

And make sure you eat something every single time before taking a pill, even if it's just some oatmeal.
The ultimate hangover cure? in Health ·
Whenever I’ve been drinking, I make it a point to fill up a water bottle and leave it right by my bed before heading out. If I don't, especially when I finally crash at those ungodly hours in the morning, I can never sleep through the night. I always end up waking up and having to take a few sips just to get through it. Honestly, ever since I started doing this, I haven't dealt with those nasty hangovers once. 😁
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
I’ve come to realize that the cramps aren't nearly as agonizing when they hit while I'm actually on the move; if they decide to show up in the middle of the night or while I'm just sitting still, it’s absolutely brutal.
And since I've been staying active and keeping things moving regularly, the pain has been almost negligible, which suggests that
consistent physical activity definitely makes a difference.
My hair is thinning out too... honestly, it’s starting to get under my skin 😁
. If I actually had a decent amount of hair left, I’d be genuinely worried. But since I have far too much to begin with, let it 😁😁. It seems to happen around this time every year; perhaps my body is just shedding the "old" layers to make room for the "new," since I can see the regrowth coming in. Quite the spectacle, really 😁😁
. P.S. Does anyone happen to know of a good shampoo for reducing volume? Hahahaha 😁
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
I can handle the cramps if they hit me during the day, but when they strike in the middle of the night... that’s when it truly becomes unbearable. What’s most bizarre is that it isn't just stomach pain; my legs ache too. My sister used to laugh at me, wondering how leg pain could even be related, but lately, she’s been feeling the same thing. It’s incredibly frustrating because I can't find any peace—I'm constantly shifting around just to try and soothe the ache in my legs. Last night was particularly brutal; I spent the entire day yesterday feeling completely out of sorts after being hit mid-sleep.
Usually, I take a combination of Tylenol, Advil, and Buscopan. A pharmacist at the local CVS suggested that specific mix.😁 Though, it takes quite a while to actually kick in; personally, I still find Ketorolac to be the most effective.
But reading through everyone else's experiences... I suppose my best bet is just honey and milk.😲

And what about a little physical activity?
I know this one girl who, whenever she’s running late, just sprints up and down the stairs in her apartment building a few times, haha... I mean, I thought it was hilarious, but she insists it actually works for her. Well... what's stopping you from giving it a shot? 😁😉
Sunspots and hyperpigmentation help! in Health ·
Joseph Martin5 said:ugh. honestly, I’m covered in freckles. like, wayyyy too many scattered all over my face, and they definitely aren't 😍
and then you have these total idiots out there thinking they're actually contagious 😕
but the absolute worst part is that once summer hits, I’m stuck slathering on SPF 30+ sunscreen every five minutes... which just isn't a vibe, you know?
ugh, I don't even know. I’d love to just zap them all away, but... I'm kind of terrified I'll just end up making my skin look even more messed up than it already is, so... 😉

Hmm... I can't imagine life without mine. During puberty, I tried every ridiculous trick in the book to make them disappear, but now? I don't want to hide them under layers of foundation.
My only real gripe is that applying sunscreen to prevent a total takeover in the summer leaves my face looking two or three shades paler than the rest of my body. But honestly, you can fix that with tinted moisturizer or whatever other makeup tricks exist. 😁
Anyone know what this is? in Health ·

this has been happening to me over the last few years... and it happened again yesterday.
Basically... I get this sudden dizziness, chills run through my body, and my vision starts to fail. It’s like seeing swarms of ants dancing before my eyes until everything just goes pitch black.
It’s also been known to happen right before I pass out.
If anyone has any idea what this could be, please let me know. 🙂
I saw my doctor about this a while back and she started with blood work. They found I was slightly low on iron, but I corrected that pretty quickly. I also had an EEG, but those results came back perfectly normal.

Sometimes that happens to me when I lie down and then stand up too fast, and I have to grab onto something to stay upright... one time I actually just collapsed onto the floor... but that was probably five years ago. I haven't really paid much attention to it since.
racunan-I guess it's from standing up too suddenly... don't go scaring me now. 😁
I don't quite grasp why they're refusing to see a doctor...
Anyway... I remember catching an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show once where Dr. Oz was a guest, discussing three simple ways to check if someone is experiencing—or about to have—a stroke. If my memory serves me correctly, the test involved seeing if they could smile, repeat a simple sentence, and a third step... I believe it was checking if they could raise an arm above their head.
The logic being that those three functions are controlled by distinct regions of the brain...

I'm just hoping everything turns out fine.
Brittle, peeling nails: any tips? in Health ·
Jerry Sanchez53 said:Quick question 🙂 My nails are peeling... and I mean they're peeling so badly that I can literally scrape the top layer off halfway down the nail bed. 🤷
My toenails seem perfectly fine... but my fingernails? It's a disaster. 😢
I’ve never exactly had "perfect" nails, but this current situation is actually starting to worry me. Visually, I manage to hide it by applying a layer of clear polish so it doesn't look too bad 🤷 but I know that isn't a real fix...
Is it just that I have naturally weak nails, or could this be some kind of nutritional deficiency? I’ve already tried various creams and strengthening treatments, but nothing seems to offer any long-term results... help me out here. 🙂

Vitamin B works wonders for brittle nails... and if you do the dishes (assuming you do 😁) make sure to wear gloves...
