Mod is breathing down my neck! What should I do? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Quick! Hide in these bushes!

Nicholas King said:This thread has been "alive" for about ten months now, and honestly, I used to think it was just a pathetic mess, but it's actually an honest take.

I mean, how else can you put it? The guy is telling it like it is. 😕

Anyway, where's my money?

I’m fully behind the current forum leadership and every call they make. I trust they know exactly how to play their cards to keep this unique online community growing. Honestly, watching all these fair-weather fans flip-flop and try everything in their power to undermine the mods and the structure just makes me laugh. My only advice to them? If you lose, don't throw a tantrum. ☕

Look, I don't think it's cool to mock someone just because they went through a miscarriage, so say what you want.
She’s actually one of the few people who stood up for someone when that was brought up, and honestly, I respect her for that.

I get that she isn't your favorite person, but usually, she's right and fights for the right reasons. Maybe try keeping that in mind next time you reflexively jump to the other side.

This goes for anyone rooting against The Innocents without having any actual arguments to back it up. 🙂

😬

Now you're bringing up a third party? I'm not talking about some random third person... And I definitely wasn't thinking about anyone else when I mentioned the tyranny. That whole mess was mostly driven by the puppet master pulling the strings behind the scenes, not some bystander.

I've crossed paths with her on this forum a few times now, and I've seen firsthand what kind of stuff she stands for. My opinion of her—whether I like her or not—is based exactly on that.

I ran into her again in that thread we were talking about, so I saw it all play out once more. 🙏

This reminds me of that whole meltdown on another subforum not too long ago, where a bunch of self-righteous types who never even show up here suddenly decided they were outraged over some kid being targeted.

God bless her soul and forgive her jealousy if she’s actually a solid contributor who just wants to post freely on her own threads. If people want to listen to her, fine—let them. Most of us and God have been bored of her drama for ages.

There's this one golden rule.

"Never skimp on the motherboard."

Honestly, that is some of the most widespread nonsense I've ever heard. It's right up there with believing in aliens, lizard people running the government, or seeing visions in the clouds after a bad case of food poisoning. 🤮
Kinesio Taping Guide and Discussion in Health ·
Found it! 😬

The Kinesio Taping method has truly carved out its own space in rehabilitation and sports medicine globally. It was originally developed by Dr. Kenso Kas about 25 years ago in Japan.

Nowadays, Kinesio Taping has basically become the gold standard for therapeutic rehab taping.
The whole technique is built around supporting the body's natural healing process—essentially by activating the neurological and motor systems. We aren't just telling muscles how to move; we’re helping them manage circulation, venous and lymphatic fluids, body temperature, and more.

When you apply Kinesio Taping, you use this special Kinesio Tex tape that actually mimics the properties of your skin. You can apply it with different levels of tension depending on what's needed.
But look, KT isn't just about "applying tape." It’s a whole new philosophy for treating muscle dysfunction, reducing edema, and managing pain by addressing the individual's fundamental physiological state. Whether it's treating sports injuries, swelling, or just dulling pain, it's incredibly versatile.
It’s widely used all over Asia and the USA.

I remember during the 2004 Athens Olympics, you could see KT being used successfully by so many athletes. Here in the States, plenty of pros rely on it—guys like Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, and countless other football players, basketball stars, tennis pros, and gymnasts...

In a lot of cases, using KT is a massive step forward because it allows the skin to work more independently, which significantly cuts down
recovery time and helps boost overall physical performance. The best part? The KT method lets a person soak up the benefits of the therapy 24 hours a day for several days straight.

You'll see Kinesio Taping being used everywhere from hospitals and clinics to pro training studios and athletic teams. Plus, it works great when paired with other therapies like
cryotherapy, hydrotherapy, or electrical stimulation.

That's pretty interesting. Honestly, my gut instinct would be to be skeptical about all this... but hey, if Tiger Woods is using it, I guess it must be legit. 😁

My only fear is that the tape might rip all my hair out! 😕

What kind of topic is this even.. 🙏

You could have at least mentioned in these first 15 posts what on earth this "Chinese tapir" thing—or whatever it's called—actually is.

I clicked one of the links you provided and just saw some guy covered in duct tape.

Come on, give us some actual differences. How do these "certified" instructors differ from the ones without the credentials?
Thanks for the heads-up... in Forum Help! ·
It does that to me sometimes. When I'm using Chrome, I can't even get into certain subforums because it just gives me this lovely little error message and leaves me hanging. But if I switch over to Edge, I can get right in without any trouble.

Hey everyone, I was just browsing Profightstore and picked up a bunch of addresses for karate schools, but there isn't much detail provided. I'm specifically looking for Shotokan. Does anyone know where I could train Shotokan in the area? Ideally somewhere in the suburbs or maybe near the North Side of town.

It totally caught me off guard!😕😕I have no clue what happened. I went to go check on it, and the computer just restarted itself on me. 😕I'd just let it sit idle. 😕.

It’s most likely just Windows pulling some updates and deciding to reboot on its own. That is, unless you aren't running the Home edition.
swiftpanther102 said:I’ve been reading up on the evidence... look, you’re entitled to your own take...🤷

Think about it like this: if you give meds to kids without them knowing, or if you test stuff on animals and see how they react... why isn't that considered proof?
🙄

What’s the harm in letting her (the OP who started all this) give it a shot? It won't hurt her, and even if it turns out to be just a placebo effect... honestly, who cares, as long as she actually hits her goal.😁 👍

I’d love to hear what you would actually consider "proof" that it doesn't work. For instance, if you give someone some homeopathic remedy—whether they know it or not—and nothing happens, would you call that proof of failure? And if not, then why?

The whole argument for homeopathy feels a lot like those old superstitions you hear from a grandmother out in the Midwest. Not my grandma, mind you—she's too sharp for that—but a friend's grandma.

That old lady used to say that whenever an owl hooted, "something bad was coming."
And her reasoning? Well, she said the owl hooted the night she broke her leg, and it hooted again the night the neighbor's sister passed away. So, in her mind, an owl hooting means trouble is on the way.

But honestly, if an owl hoots every single night, it’s a statistical certainty that eventually, someone is going to pass away on one of those nights. That's all there is to it.
swiftpanther102 said:Give me a break... I mean, they basically proved your theory wrong already—just look at how it works with kids and animals. If you can even wrap your head around an explanation like that.🙄

It depends on how you define "proof." If your idea of proof for homeopathy is simply the fact that it hasn't been shown to work on anyone—kids, women, animals, plants, or even buildings—then sure, I guess you've got your proof there. 🙄
