Since Dana Flores3 already posted the analysis, there’s really nothing left to say besides making sure I cover my bases with an x-om.

That insurance was a smart move. 👍

I wasn't really following the old Yugoslav league, to be honest. 😁

Red Star Belgrade-Bordeaux (08/23, 9:00 PM) 2 @ 2.20

Unit 6/10

Red Star Belgrade is a complete mess right now. Their coach left in December, they got hammered 6-0 by an oil company team a couple weeks ago, and they couldn't even find the net in two games against Omonia—barely scraped a win on penalties...
They even managed to draw against some amateur squad in their domestic league that I've never even heard of...
Everything points toward Bordeaux taking this one today.

With odds like that, it's definitely worth a shot. 👍

Richard Young10 said:Spain (59.5% possession) vs 1.85 Germany

We all know how Spain plays. They love hogging the ball and methodically working their way toward a goal. Our midfield is solid enough, but if they manage to take the lead, I think we’ll just sit back and look for that one counterattack opportunity. Looking at their recent games against Italy and Ireland, they held 60% and 66% possession respectively. This is a massive game for them, so they'll want to dictate the tempo and probably aim for 65-70% possession. If we get ahead early, they'll definitely drop deeper, which feels like great value to me.

Thoughts?

We all know how Spain plays. They love holding onto the ball and methodically building up until they find a gap. Our midfield is solid, but if they're protecting a lead, I expect us to sit back and look for those counter-attack opportunities. Against Italy, Spain had 60% possession, and against Ireland, it was 66%. This is their big game, so they’ll want total control—probably aiming for 65% to 70% possession. Honestly, if we take an early lead, we'll just park the bus, which makes this a great value bet to me.

Thoughts?

I'm liking this one👍

Should be an easy win.

Cordoba Gimnastic

Cordoba basically just needs to beat the bottom team—who's already out of the running for survival anyway—and hope Almeria slips up.

A win is the only way they stay in the hunt for a higher spot.

Chelsea barely scraped by in the US Open Cup final a few days ago. Now they’ve got the Champions League final on their minds, while Liverpool is out for blood...

They actually looked better on the pitch too, and I doubt they'll lose at home. 😉
A home win should go through based on how things look... @1.40

It might be worth trying a straight away win if you want better odds @2.40, or maybe a draw @2.10

Everything seems fine except for a Chelsea victory

Liverpool is crushing it

3-0 at the 30th minute

I don't think Chelsea is walking away with a win against Liverpool today...

Chelsea barely scraped by in the US Open Cup final a few days ago, so the Champions League final is their priority now, while Liverpool is hungry for revenge...

They actually looked like the better side on the pitch, and I doubt they'll lose at home 😉
A single win for Liverpool should go through based on how things look.. @1.40

It’s worth trying a straight win for higher odds @2.40 or a draw @2.10

Everything looks solid to me except for a Chelsea victory.

Sean Sullivan87 said:They even lost 2-1 at home today against a bottom-tier team like Norwich. It's honestly pathetic.

Arsenal was never actually a powerhouse; they’re more on par with West Ham or Everton. Wenger should be ashamed—you spend 18 years in London and this is what you leave behind?🙄

I was going to call you out when they pulled off that 3-2 win, but now that it's 3-3, I'll give you some credit.😁

Plus they've got Subasic, who clearly hasn't messed up in ages.🤣

I don't know, I'm feeling a draw here, and those guys from Canada look like a draw too. Might just play a 2/3 system with three draws for a little extra profit.

It’s not quite right to say Monaco is steamrolling everyone. They’ve just won their last four games by one or two goals, and those were all against bottom-tier teams...
It doesn't feel like they're dominating the league. Plus, they're facing a top-tier side today while playing away from home. 🤷

As for the other match, Cleveland has 16 points over second place, and since they built that lead, they've been winning consistently at home (the fans probably still have plenty of motivation) but they've drawn two of their last three away games. I wouldn't be surprised if today ends in a draw too, especially since the other team used to be a title contender alongside Cleveland... there's definitely extra motivation here.

And that third matchup... betting on a straight draw? Hmm, I really don't know what to tell you. I rarely touch those.

Apparently one goal in NYC was disallowed for offsides.

It's 1-1 now.🙂

1-2.🙄

briskbison66 said:Man, I think you messed up and bet on Arsenal to score more or equal goals (writing x2) 😁

By the way, interesting thought, but looking at Zory, they aren't actually that bad. I'm debating whether to go with a double chance or just bet they won't lose by 3 goals (1.65) 🤷

Wigan plays an open game, so Arsenal could easily win something like 5-2 or 5-1. That’s why I'm leaning toward Shakhtar not blowing Zory out of the water (for those who don't get how a loss by 2 goals or less works... handicap 2:0 1x @1.65)

I meant 1X, which is what I wrote in the first line.

Shakhtar vs Arsenal (04.16. 17:30) 1X @1.45 (soccer match)

The odds alone are 😲😲
image

you really have to wonder who they think is crazy here...
they give Shakhtar way too many chances and then mess up the matchup by setting it at 1.45 😍
image

Arsenal is facing Wigan, who just beat Manchester a few days ago. Chelsea was tied 1-1 until the 92nd minute, and they crushed Liverpool and Stoke a few weeks back... they're in incredible form...
Shakhtar is trailing Dynamo Kyiv by 3 points with a game in hand... they're much stronger than the rest of the clubs in their league

in my opinion, this is a mistake by the sportsbook 😉

Man, if the coach messes up today, we're all going down with him.

Nice work, Carol Moore5 👍

By the way, isn't there another Carol Moore5 on this sub with a capital "N" and a different profile pic?
🤔

I'm pretty sure there is.

I haven't seen anyone here actually playing there or even signed up yet.

Why that specific sportsbook, though? I think there are plenty better options out there... 🤔

There was a really solid thread on this sub about those online bookies; you'd probably find it interesting to read.

Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
Kyle Ramirez4 said:Yeah, but look—it’s actually been proven that wearing neon orange, lime green, or bright red jerseys psychologically tricks players into aiming straight at the keeper. That’s why Real Madrid has been picking those exact obnoxious colors for their goalie kits for ages.image
imageIt’s the same kind of thing that happened in the Premier League last year during that Sunderland vs. Liverpool match. Someone tossed a bright red balloon onto the pitch. Basically, Bent hit the ball, it struck the balloon right in front of the penalty area, and Reina dove for the damn balloon because of the red color, leaving the net wide open for the goal.image

Interesting color analysis here.😁

👍Looks like you might be right, though.
That's a class act.
Kudos to 👍

Just making sure I got this right—are the ticket proceeds from the Club Brugge vs. Dinamo match also going toward the Blue Umbrella campaign?
