Well, looking back at everything I've read in this thread so far, it seems like you're actually in the minority here... it looks like you're just one of the few people who can't seem to get them under control at all...

Look, we all know the deal here: hemorrhoids are basically just swollen veins that fill up with blood, causing them to bulge and become incredibly inflamed... and let me tell you, the pain is absolutely excruciatingeeee. Once that inflammation finally dies down, you're left with these little bumps that don't hurt anymore, but they aren't going anywhere either—unless you decide to go under the knife for cosmetic surgery. So, that's the reality of it. I know you aren't thrilled about hearing that, and honestly, neither am I, but after the level of agony I went through, I've reached a point where I just don't care... besides, I wasn't planning on showing off my backside to anyone anyway...😉

So, the other day while I was showering, I noticed this tiny little bump near my anus that seemingly appeared overnight, because I definitely didn't notice anything the day before. Basically, the bump is almost skin-colored, just a bit lighter, and it doesn't hurt or sting at all, nor is there any bleeding. It’s about the size of a pea, maybe even a little smaller... is that actually a hemorrhoid, and what could have caused it? Is it possible it came from diarrhea? I've been dealing with that quite a bit lately, probably due to stress. Should I be applying Fact cream, or is that specifically for internal hemorrhoids? Thanks!!

Well, looking at my own experience, nothing worked better for me than using lard for external issues and Ultraproct suppositories for the internal ones. The very first time I had a bump pop up, it disappeared after just a few hours once I applied the lard. My mistake was that I didn't stay on top of it and keep applying it every single day, which is exactly why I ended up in the situation I'm in now. Every time the discomfort subsided, I would naturally just forget all about it. Just keep applying the ointment, or try some other creams—though I have to emphasize that most others didn't do much for me—and whatever you do, don't sit on cold surfaces. Make sure you wash up with lukewarm water and apply a cream regularly. Honestly, if you stick to those steps, it won't get inflamed, and you won't end up becoming a frequent visitor to this thread like I did...😍

I mean, nobody is quite that clueless; you'll definitely notice when things start bleeding. And let me be clear: if we're talking about external or internal ones, that means you can actually SEE what's going on. It’s certainly not some catastrophic illness, so you might as well try some creams first and just monitor how things progress. I hate to be the one to say this, but recurrences are pretty common—I personally know several people who ended up with the exact SAME issue just three or four years after their surgery! Every single tiny capillary, and there are so many of them, acts as a potential site for a NEW hemorrhoid!

Honestly, I know plenty of people who dealt with a relapse even after having surgery, and that’s exactly what worries me; all that pain and hassle just to end up right back at square one. I'm wondering, in which specific cases is surgery the ONLY real solution? Also, could someone please tell me if working out is an issue? I haven't done any sit-ups or hit the gym in ages... nothing at all... and I miss it sooooo much...

After cycling through endless creams and ointments, it was actually those "Ultraproct" suppositories that finally did the trick for me. After what felt like a grueling six months, I’m finally at a point where the pain has subsided and the bleeding has stopped. The thing is, the instructions say you shouldn't use them for more than a month at a time, and I honestly have no idea what my next move should be once they run out. To make matters worse, I've already scheduled an appointment for a checkup, and now that it's getting closer, I can feel this wave of panic starting to set in... I'm just not sure if I'm ready to face it yet...😁

Goodness gracious, people, I can't believe it... surely you haven't all actually managed to cure your hemorrhoids 😲

..they had actually settled down for a while, but now they're making a comeback...and I know exactly why...it's because I barely move at all...almost nothing...hardly any movement during my workday (since I have a desk job), and once I get home, I just grab a bite to eat and sink right into my armchair 😢
..very soon—actually, not "maybe," but definitely—I plan to start some kind of exercise routine (like aerobics or something similar), so I'm really hoping things will improve...
..and I definitely need to overhaul my diet...I consume way too much chocolate 😁 🤷

See, I stay quite active (that’s just how my job is), I don't eat spicy food, I don't sit on cold surfaces, and I maintain good hygiene, yet they've flared up again. What truly drives me crazy is the feeling that there isn't a definitive cure for this😠Come on, they've invented countless medical miracles, yet we're powerless against this specific nuisance!? And could someone please tell me, is exercising okay when they are acting up?😕I mean, I finally lose the extra weight and I'm starting to see those beautiful abs, and then suddenly, I'm hit with hemorrhoids😠So, I'm waiting for this flare-up to calm down, but once it does, can I go ahead and resume my workout routine?

Charles Wells84 said:Since I couldn't track down the American version here in the States, I ended up picking up some Himalaya to test out for about $3... it seems the dosage instructions are a bit different, too; you take two tablets three times a day for the first week after meals, and then switch to two tablets twice a day for four to six weeks. Regardless, if this doesn't do the trick, I'll just hunt down the American brand when I'm visiting the US and give that a shot instead...

Does anyone know if that "Hadensa" cream—or whatever they called it—is available here in America?

But my biggest concern right now is the bleeding during bowel movements. Has anyone here dealt with this before?

For me, drinking yarrow tea really helped stem the bleeding, though I did run into a bit of trouble when inflammation kicked in—I actually had to spend two full days just lying on my stomach to cope with the discomfort... Honestly, I’m at a total loss as to why this started happening in the first place; my digestion is fine, I eat a very clean diet, I stay active, and I can't pinpoint what the issue could be... Any advice or shared experiences would be so greatly appreciated.🙂
