Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
Whenever I hear all this talk about pregnancy and childbirth, I honestly feel a wave of nausea wash over me... It just makes me wonder, quite intensely, what would actually happen to my body if I were to become pregnant and go through a natural delivery. I feel like I might just completely fall apart...☕

Paul Miller Asks:
Unfortunately, I had always assumed they would never bleed... And when there is that internal pain, does it actually radiate toward the lower abdomen? Because sometimes I feel this discomfort in my lower belly and my back at the same time...😢

Oh, my dear, I truly feel for you... it breaks my heart to see you going through this...😢I find myself dealing with such similar struggles... half of what I eat seems to trigger stomach pain, and I have to steer clear of anything spicy because of my chemical sensitivities. But honestly, I don't think I even realized that those specific foods were the actual culprits behind my discomfort...😕If you're experiencing pain in your lower abdomen, there's a chance it could be related to your ovaries or perhaps your bladder... I personally don't think hemorrhoids would cause discomfort in that specific area, since they are located somewhere else entirely...😁
Alright, I’ll try my absolute best to explain this to you as clearly as I can—I deal with internal hemorrhoids myself, and let me tell you, the bleeding was intense, just incredibly heavy... It honestly felt like someone had shoved a hot coal inside of me, it was absolutely horrific. That is exactly what it feels like when they are acting up... Inside...
If I had actually stepped foot outside lately, given how constant the pain has been feeling, it honestly would have been unbearable... That’s exactly why I finally pulled the trigger and decided to go through with the surgery. I’m fully aware there’s a chance things could just come back, but at this point, I just want to experience a period of living a normal life again, you know? And if the issues resurface down the road, well, then I guess it'll be back to cauterization once more...🙄Honestly, if you had asked me what my life has looked like over this past year, I would have told you it was nothing short of a bad joke... I’d spend eight hours at work, only to come home and spend the next sixteen hours basically nursing myself back to health just so I could muster enough strength to do it all over again the next day. Going to the gym? Forget about it. Even just rolling around or taking a simple walk felt impossible, and don't even get me started on jeans—I couldn't even dream of wearing denim without total misery. It was just awful. But oh, the absolute worst part—the thing that really hit home—was that I couldn't even stand up for myself or get into an argument, because every single time I tried to raise my voice, everything just... well, let's just say things would "slip out" right then and there!🤦
Honestly, you should just head straight to the pharmacy and pick up some suppositories... because let's be real, applying cream on the surface isn't going to do much when the actual issue is happening internally. I wasted so much time smearing things around the outside like I did back when I didn't know any better, and I don't see the point in doing that now... You can find Fact, various creams, or suppositories, and I know everyone seems to rave about them, but for me, they actually made everything worse—I think I might have been allergic to one of the ingredients or something... For me personally, Ultraproct suppositories have been an absolute lifesaver. But if I’m being completely honest, the biggest game-changer of all was getting compression stockings for my veins, which you can also grab at any local pharmacy. They literally saved me; if it weren't for those, I wouldn't even be able to stand up right now... They provide that firm pressure that helps keep everything tucked in where it belongs, so there isn't that constant pain, just a bit of a stinging sensation, but I've managed to get used to that over time...🙄
I truly hope that I was able to be of at least a little bit of assistance...🙂

Sophia Thompson93 said:I don't have any external ones. I've tried feeling around sometimes. I clearly wrote that I don't have external hemorrhoids. I am still waiting for an answer as to whether it's possible these are hemorrhoids or if I'm just imagining things...

Daaaaa honey, they are most likely internal hemorrhoids, because that's how they react...😉usually they push outward during a bowel movement and then slide back in later. Or maybe you're accidentally pushing them out...😁
As for me, I was at the doctor's today for a follow-up after my third cauterization procedure; I really thought I was finally done with this whole ordeal... but alas, I was wrong.😁There is still one stubborn little "lump" left that has been driving me absolutely crazy since the very beginning of this saga. The doctor mentioned it’s probably just a bit larger, so I need one more session in about a month once this inflammation dies down (which will hopefully be my 100th time hearing that)...
I am feeling much better overall, though I still deal with some stinging and occasional pain, but in any case, it is significantly better than it was before the procedures.
Anyway, I'm just hoping everything turns out okay in the end. I just want to finally be rid of this nuisance once and for all...
Hypersexuality: Let's talk about it in Psychology ·
Daniel Wilson5 said:So, here’s the real question: how do you actually spot hypersexuality? Is this some kind of disorder where people just can't be faithful or feel any actual affection—they’re just wired for sex, cheating on everyone they meet? And more importantly, how are you supposed to react once you realize you've gotten tangled up with someone like that? Should we view it as an uncontrollable trait they aren't responsible for... or do we have every right to judge them as cold-blooded players who would sleep with anything that moves, even if it makes you sick, and couldn't feel love for you even if their life depended on it?

Mhm... I think you might be mixing a few things up there, because what you're describing sounds like something else entirely. And I'm not even entirely certain if it qualifies as a clinical disorder myself...😁
From what I recall, nymphomania is more about an inability to reach satisfaction through sex—essentially wanting more, and more, and more... and it's never quite enough. But again, I'm emphasizing that this is just based on my own memory; please, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.😉

Jerry Lee32 said:Look, a doctor can really only tell you the same old things: eat better, don't sit on cold surfaces, stop lifting heavy weights, blah blah blah... basically everything under the sun... or they might eventually suggest surgery (though even then, they can just come back after the procedure)... so there isn't anything particularly groundbreaking to be said... and honestly, some people just have bad luck and they won't go away, unfortunately... I've already made my peace with it. Now I just pay more attention to all those triggers that could cause them to flare up again... in my case, at least... but then again, some people are lucky enough to get through it and not deal with them for years, like my brother... he had them about 5 years ago and they haven't flared up once since, though that's certainly no guarantee for the future... there aren't any rules when it comes to these things...🙄I see you're a woman, but I don't know how old you are... these things can pop up during pregnancy or childbirth too...

I'm 29 years old, and I've never been pregnant or given birth. I've never actually struggled with constipation—if anything, it's the opposite😁I drink about 4 liters of water a day, I stay very active, and so on... so overall, I can't find a single logical reason why I have these... I went in for cauterization, which needed to be done three times total, all at once, and I went through with it, but I'm not noticing much of a result. I feel a little better, but I still feel them. I suppose everyone who undergoes that procedure manages to live normally for at least a little while...
Jessica Grant56; your reply gave me such a good laugh, because it is the absolute truth! I've noticed mine go wild whenever I'm stressed out over something. Honestly, I don't need creams, I need anti-anxiety meds😁
And one more thing—I know I'm going to take a lot of heat for this, but I was wondering how I can reply to two posts at the same time? Like, if I click multi-quote, what am I supposed to do next?🙈I figured it's better to ask and look silly for five minutes than to not ask and stay silly for the rest of my life🙄

But I honestly just cannot wrap my head around why this can't be fully resolved once and for all...😕I mean, people manage much more severe illnesses, yet here we are, struggling with this and seeing absolutely no progress, none at all...😠To be fair, I am feeling a little bit better right now, but even then, I still find myself feeling that lingering sensation...🙄I have an appointment scheduled with my doctor later this month for a check-up, and I am really hoping they can offer some actual insight or a sensible explanation as to why this keeps happening to me.
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
I went looking for that specific cream, but honestly, everyone just gave me this blank, judgmental stare whenever I tried to start explaining what I needed...🙄Maybe if I were in a bigger city like 🤷, it would be different, but in some places around here, it's just awkward. So, for now, I’m just sticking with my reliable "Ultraprocta"

And then they probably are indeed HEMO products😁You can find suppositories at any local pharmacy, so just go ahead and pick some up, because if the issue is internal, there isn't much point in just applying ointments all over the outside when the actual problem is deeper inside... So, suppositories...🙂

Jessica Grant56, I am already taking all of those steps, but...🤷
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
I’ve gone through with my third cauterization procedure, and honestly, the results have been absolutely negligible...😂I have my follow-up appointment scheduled for later this month, and I am just at a complete loss as to what comes next... To be perfectly blunt, it feels like I'm just being jerked around; there is occasional bleeding here and there, but that constant, nagging pain simply refuses to subside. At this point, I don't even have the energy left to be angry about it. I just can't wrap my head around what the actual issue is or why this keeps happening to me...🤷
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
Oh, goodness, no, everything is perfectly fine... I just get so incredibly frustrated when people constantly insist on emphasizing all those things I’ve been following for ages, you know? It's like, I was already doing all of that long before I even dealt with this in the first place, and I honestly have no idea why they feel the need to lecture me about it...🤷
Regarding your question about when to actually go see a doctor, I think you're the best judge of your own body. If the bleeding is rare and minimal—if it just pops up occasionally and disappears just as quickly without making your life a total misery—I don't see any urgent reason to rush to the clinic. Perhaps the only reason to go would be for your own peace of mind, just to confirm that it's simply a matter of hormones.
I experienced them for the first time a few years back, and someone suggested I just apply some basic ointment, which seemed to clear things right up. After that, they popped up a couple more times, but they vanished so rapidly that I truly couldn't understand why everyone makes such a massive fuss over it...🤣But now, it has become crystal clear to me... It's about that sheer, overwhelming pain that completely paralyzes your ability to think, leaves you feeling so on edge, and becomes the only thing occupying your mind. If yours isn't like that, then please, just enjoy life...🙂
As for the different creams, I'd say just give them a try and see which one works best for you, because we aren't all built the same way... what helps one person might do absolutely nothing for another.

😠Let’s just clear a few things up regarding why and how these issues actually arise. Honestly, reading some of these posts makes my blood pressure spike to 200!!! How many times do I really need to emphasize MY specific situation? About ten years ago, I dealt with a serious case of meningitis, and ever since then, I have been incredibly cautious; the thought of sitting on something cold has never even crossed my mind. So, we can definitely rule that out.
Regarding my diet, I eat very healthily—plenty of fruit, vegetables, and almost every single day I stick to cooked meals. I don't eat bread, except for the occasional whole grain. My bowel movements are perfectly regular, and I don't suffer from constipation at all. Therefore, that is also out of the question.
My job requires me to be on the move for eight hours straight; I am constantly WALKING, never sitting or standing still. So, that cannot be a potential cause for any leakage.
I was also consistently, and I mean REGULARLY, active with sports—rollerblading, swimming, fitness training, gym sessions, yoga, tennis, and so on and so forth... Which means, it isn't that either!
When I was a little girl, my mother would help me clean up, and after that, I took care of myself because the idea of not washing after "relieving myself" is simply unthinkable to me.😉So, I can cross that off the list too. And is it truly necessary to point out that I have never engaged in anal sex?
For crying out loud, I'm still dealing with this despite everything, so these nonsensical theories make absolutely no sense to me. You either have it or you don't; you just live with it if you can, or if you can't, you go under the knife and that's the end of the story. In a few days, I'm heading in for another ablation procedure, and then🙂🙂🎉🙂👋

I can't say for certain, but this whole cauterization process really took its toll on me $167, since you have to undergo it three separate times, which means $500 quite a bit of work all at once. You also have to make sure at least a full month passes before the next session. It could easily stretch out to two months or even longer, but there’s absolutely no way you can go sooner than a month... and by then, I’ll probably be looking for some other way to find relief...
Regarding what you're going through, I don't know enough about your specific situation, so your best bet is to just go ask a specialist—you honestly have nothing to lose🤷. All I know is that seeing a private doctor costs roughly around $67. Still, I truly believe it's worth the investment in any case.

I am just so incredibly sorry to hear you're going through such an ordeal, but I honestly don't have any profound medical advice to offer that might actually help you... Perhaps it would be worth looking into seeing a specialist privately, because the folks at the public hospitals can be hit or miss sometimes...👎

My doctor gave me some pretty strict advice about staying out of the cold.
As for those compression socks, I honestly don't quite grasp the science behind how they work, but I stumbled upon this little discovery by accident... when I wear them, my hemorrhoids just stay right where they belong, which means I'm not in any pain. I had absolutely no idea they could have any effect on that part of the body, but it seems like the whole point is that they provide enough pressure to keep everything from swelling outward...🤷
It might be worth mentioning that I'm dealing with internal ones.
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
Oh, absolutely... there are those special cushions you can pick up at any local pharmacy that have a cutout right in the middle to relieve the pressure.😁
Anyway, I actually went in for my first cauterization treatment today—or whatever they're calling it these days—and everything went perfectly fine. I still have two more sessions scheduled, but I’m sure they’ll be just as smooth. Also, I really have to mention this because it was such a surprise: I’ve noticed that wearing my compression stockings for varicose veins actually helps this area more than anything else! It was a total accident that I discovered it, as I had no idea they could provide relief there too...

What exactly are you looking for us to tell you? That everything will magically turn out fine and there’s absolutely no reason to see a doctor?🤷I mean, once you start measuring your blood loss in deciliters😲and the pain gets so intense you just want to scream at the top of your lungs, you'll be practically begging a doctor to squeeze you in...
I don't want to scare you, but honestly, why all this drama surrounding this specific field of medicine? It’s pretty straightforward: if your tooth hurts, you go to the dentist; if your backside is giving you trouble, you see a proctologist—there isn't some deep, complex philosophy behind it. If you already know what's going to help, why delay when sometimes it's simply unavoidable? And that’s not even mentioning the more serious conditions that can be successfully treated if they're caught early enough...
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
I honestly have no idea where my dear doctor got the brilliant notion that a standard antibiotic would actually do anything for ME?! I haven't felt even a shred better, so I went to see my physician today and just completely vented all my frustrations—because why not?—and well, there's no denying it; she's now prescribed yet another antibiotic to pair with the first one, taking the initial one every 8 hours and this second one every 12 hours, two at a time... On top of all that, she also handed me some sedative pills 😲 because the last time this flared up, I was absolutely livid at work. And then there are those incredibly potent painkillers my doctor insisted on prescribing for my stiff neck, though I gracefully declined that particular suggestion and decided to handle it through regular exercise instead. Anyway, once you swallow all of this, everything feels just wonderful 🙄 Next week, I'll be reaching out to the doctor to schedule the surgery... provided this "chemical cocktail" doesn't kill me off in the meantime ☕

Olivia Doyle85 said:You hit the nail on the head, you sensitive soul! Living a life completely free from this constant pain is my ultimate goal, even if it takes me an entire year to get there! Honestly, I can't even remember the last time I managed to go for a two-hour stroll without feeling like everything was going to pop out... I am just counting down the days until my surgery... I just need someone to finally save me from this agony...😛

Everything is going to turn out fine, really. Regarding the sigmoidoscopy, it’s more about discomfort than actual pain, though honestly, it all depends heavily on the doctor you end up with. The first time I had one done, it felt absolutely horrendous—I genuinely thought I was going to burst—but with the second doctor, it was actually quite manageable. Not everyone has the right touch for these things...😁
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
Can you even imagine? Every single month, I end up blowing more money on various pills and creams that, frankly, don't even seem to work anymore, rather than just paying for the procedure to get them burned away... And honestly, if someone could just guarantee me that I’ll actually be able to live a normal life again for a while... then🙏, I feel like I'm just suffering for nothing. As for the diet, please, enlighten me, because I am completely at a loss regarding what I should even be eating. When I hear all the theories about how and why hemorrhoids develop, I just want to scream... It was because of advice exactly like that—eating soups, fruits, and vegetables—that I found myself running to the bathroom every ten minutes, which only made everything so much worse since everything was already so irritated...
Right now, this feels like my only real option, and truthfully, I am just counting down the days until I can resolve this and finally get back to my routine, to living normally... And no, my goal isn't to bulk up on heavy foods like brisket or thick stews; I've never been into that kind of thing. What I really miss is being active—rollerblading, cycling... wearing jeans... I simply just miss having a life without this constant pain...
