Living with Long COVID symptoms in Health ·
Hello.
I spent quite some time searching to see if there was an active thread on this, given how many people seem to be dealing with the same issues after recovering from COVID-19. I just finished my bout with it, which lasted several days—symptoms included fever, headaches, fatigue, and eventually a cough that brought up blood. I went to the clinic, and both my D-dimer levels and X-ray came back completely clear. Now that the initial illness has passed, I am left with these sudden bouts of weakness.
Essentially, out of nowhere, my energy just bottoms out. I have to eat something immediately, otherwise, the nausea becomes intense and I get this strange sensation in my head; I can't even focus because I lack the strength. It was hitting me randomly during the day, so now I find myself constantly monitoring my food intake. Last night, it woke me up at 3:00 AM. It felt terrible—indescribable, really.
I am 28 years old and, aside from some childhood allergies, I have always been perfectly healthy. I maintain a very clean diet (fish, fruit, vegetables, fresh juices, etc.) and I exercise at least three times a week. Yet, yesterday, I could barely manage a short walk around my neighborhood before the weakness hit me again.
Has anyone else experienced this, and how did you resolve it?

Thank you in advance.
Schizophrenia - General Discussion in Psychology & Therapy ·
Greetings. Having researched this condition extensively due to a grandmother's diagnosis, I have come to wonder: do these individuals truly believe their hallucinations and delusions are reality? Do they genuinely think they are someone else? Specifically, if a psychiatrist were to develop schizophrenia, would they be convinced by these hallucinations, or would their clinical knowledge allow them to recognize these delusions for what they are?

For instance, could a doctor believe they are being followed by surveillance cameras while simultaneously understanding the symptoms of schizophrenia and realizing they are actually ill? Is such self-awareness possible, or is it fundamentally impossible according to the nature of the disease, requiring an outside observer to intervene? ☕
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Does anyone know a decent male gynecologist in suburban Philadelphia? Any recommendations? 🙂
Hello everyone. 😉
I am dealing with a persistent skin issue. Ever since I moved away from my hometown, my legs have been itching constantly. It spans from my groin down to my ankles—though the knees and shins seem to be hit harder—and sometimes it flares up on my stomach or right where my bra clasp sits. It happens sporadically during the day, but once I lie down at night, the agony truly begins. 🤣

I suffer from allergies, though I do my best to avoid triggers. I've tried various moisturizing creams, but they only seemed to make the itching worse. Even baby oil provided no relief. I eventually switched from using a razor to an electric epilator, which helped slightly, but the primary itch remains. There are no major visible changes to my skin, though, God knows, there are occasionally tiny red dots around my knees, but nothing significant.

A friend mentioned that her husband deals with diabetes and experiences leg itching whenever his blood sugar spikes. Could there be any connection there?

Please help.🙏 🙏 🤷
