For those first three years after Isaac hit the scene, his mom was basically his shadow—day and night, she was right there by his side.

With this incredible grit and focus, she wasn't just keeping him healthy; she was supercharging his brain too! Pretty soon, the kid wasn't just physically tougher than the other kids—he was actually outsmarting them, too. Honestly, WE will never know The exact methods Anna Had applied in order to reveal Little Newton ’ genius. If we're being real, biographers haven't really put enough spotlight on the moms of legendary figures or the specific ways they raised them. Plus, the geniuses themselves usually don't remember a single thing about being little kids! So, we're left staring at this massive gap in history. It's only lately that we've realized just how huge—and sometimes life-changing—those first few years actually are. In this book, we want to dive into the incredible influence these amazing moms had and gather all that precious, "secret sauce" wisdom to pass down to the next generation of mothers.

Zenit vs. Anzhi: 1 @ 1.60 (already dropped from 1.90)

Man, Anzhi is basically being liquidated at this point—everything is going south fast! The owner is washing his hands of the whole thing, and honestly, they’ve had a terrible start anyway. First the manager goes, then you lose guys like Denisov, Zhirkov, and Kokorin...

On the flip side, Zenit is actually pulling things together. They're bringing in new talent and finally finding their rhythm—plus, Hulk's suspension got overturned, so they'll be at full strength!

Actually, it's quite the opposite!

You’ve gotta find a way to let go of all that mounting tension—it's just eating up your mental bandwidth—so you can free up those resources for stuff that actually matters.

Eric Fox7 said:Honestly, it might be smarter to just bet on an outright win for the LA Galaxy (currently @ 2.40, but on game day it’ll definitely be a killer pick with odds closer to @ 3)—because hey, a narrow 1-0 win doesn't actually mean they advance!

But man, I'm counting on them not pulling another 1-0 result, you know? I'm holding out until Thursday—if things look up, then the serious players with bigger stakes will go all-in on a Galaxy win. Then we can try to sneak in a parlay with five or six more picks that I'm not quite as "sure" about—like betting on Donnellson to score at 1.80. If Donnellson gets shut down by Miller, then everything just goes straight to hell!

LAFC vs. LA Galaxy — LAFC to win @ 1.35

Last time, I got burned big time because of that "fatigue" excuse after their trip to Mexico—they couldn't even find the back of the net against the local squad! Now, they’ve got an even longer haul and a much tougher matchup on the horizon, so I really don't see a repeat of that disaster. If they lose, their morale is toast; if they move on, there's a massive party—but neither outcome helps my spread! They'll definitely play below their actual potential against LAFC.

Portland Timbers vs. Seattle Sounders 1 @ 1.30

The USL Championship honestly looks like a goldmine if you follow it closely. You've got 16 teams where half the league is fighting tooth and nail for promotion, while three clubs are basically already out of the running. Every single week there's at least one "lock" with some pretty decent odds!

And it feels like Portland is going to be the big standout here—they're investing heavily, and they missed out on promotion by just one spot in the last two seasons. They used to be top-tier contenders and cup finalists, whereas for a team like Seattle, this is their first real run at this level in ages, and it looks like a quick return to the big leagues is coming.

Atlanta United vs. Dinamo Tbilisi - Win 1 @ 2.70

Man, we saw all the switches coming—it’s like Atlanta just didn't want the ball today! They basically coasted through a 1/1 stretch and then just cruised to the finish line thanks to a bit of luck, kind of like that game against Aalborg

Honestly, Atlanta proved they’re the better side here. It's probably about time the luck turns against those guys from Georgia, right? Realistically, you'd expect Atlanta to take the lead, and they're already sitting pretty with a massive advantage

The pitch is gonna be about 15 degrees cooler too, which really helps a squad that actually wants to play football instead of just dragging their feet and playing defensive. Looking at that grass, it looks way higher quality than what we see back home at Mercedes-Benz Stadium 😂
That kind of surface totally suits a team looking to grab a result and keep the tempo high

Plus, these young players bounce back fast—and hey, seeing that 3:0 win against the local rivals earlier tonight definitely gave them some serious momentum

Eusebio Cup

Benfica vs. Sao Paulo: Away +3 @ 1.80

Honestly, Sao Paulo is gonna be totally gassed tomorrow—they played the world champs on Wednesday, then had to face the European champs and AC Milan right after! Add some serious jet lag to that mix? Yeah, no thanks. Benfica is basically a lock at 90% here; they’re fresher, they’re stronger, and they’ve got the home-field advantage. Plus, Sao Paulo hasn't found the back of the net in five games... isn't it about time someone actually scored?

Saturday 16:00
AIK Stockholm vs. IF Elfsborg: Home Win @ 2.00

AIK looks way more rested. Elfsborg, on the other hand, has been grinding through two brutal matches while resting, and now they’ve got a massive game against Celtic this Wednesday that they're desperate to win just to stay alive in Europe. They’re already feeling the burnout from the continental schedule, and they haven't even won a single match in their last three league outings because of that nightmare stretch—especially after Celtic absolutely ran them ragged. AIK is looking seriously sharp, though—they've grabbed 23 out of a possible 27 points over their last nine games! They caught a tired Hacken in the last round, and I think they can pull it off again.

Atvidabergs FF vs. Gefle IF 1 @ 1.85

Man, Gefle has a brutal trip coming up this Thursday—they’re flying all the way to Azerbaijan for a massive EuroLeague qualifying match against Quarabag. We’re talking intense heat and crazy humidity! Honestly, they’ll probably be looking to get their legs back under them against a super fresh Atvidabergs side. Plus, let's face it, Atvidabergs is just better in the league right now—they've got a 10-point cushion over them. They're sitting pretty at second on the recent form table too, and since they're playing at home, they've got the edge. In the Swedish league, only Helsingborg has more home wins than these guys right now!

Gefle is also sitting on the most draws in the league (8), so I'm thinking those "X" bets have already been bled dry.

Ludogorets vs. Partizan - Pick: Home Win @ 2.10

Man, watching Partizan go up against Shirak is gonna be brutal. Honestly, if they hadn't been robbed by that last-minute goal from Volkov back in the day, they would've cruised into Europe already! Even that 1-1 draw wouldn't have cut it if the ref hadn't skipped over that obvious penalty for Shirak in Belgrade. And let's talk about Shirak—how do you manage to lose even when playing in a tiny place like San Marino? It's wild! Things are looking even bleaker for the match the day after tomorrow because their lineup is a mess—Volkov is out on suspension, Ostojić is sidelined with an injury, and Mitrović is busy playing for the US U19 national team in the finals.

Ludogorets absolutely tore through Slovan with a 3-0 win. They look way more dangerous than they did last year—remember when they almost grabbed a Champions League spot until that crazy "UNTIL WE SCORE" comeback happened in a stadium in Chicago?

I’d probably be way happier if I could go back to being, say, 14 again

but honestly? It's just because I messed up so much later on—like, I didn't even come close to having the kind of quality of life I actually could've had. And let me tell you, with that kind of lifestyle, I’d definitely be feeling even better than I did when I was just a kid

Los Angeles FC vs. Folio
—I honestly think one of the safest bets left is the away team score over @1.30.
LAFC will probably bag 3 goals, which should be plenty to cover the bet. Who knows if Folio might sneak one in and mess up a handicap? They'll likely field some kind of mixed roster, but whatever lineup they throw out, they're good enough to drop at least 3 on them. I feel like the over 2.5 has a lower multiplier than this, so I’m sticking with my pick: 😳away team score over.

If anyone else has a lock I can add to this to bump us up to @2, let me know! 🙂

Anyone got any locks? I'm feeling indecisive, what should I pick? 🤷

Since we're talking about other scores, you actually reminded me of Prestatyn vs. Rijeka, other @ 2.00

Rijeka should also be able to put three past them—it’s gonna be a nice, warm night there, maybe around 65°F. Now, I know Rijeka has that big matchup against LAFC this weekend, so they might rotate a lot of players. But hey, even the bench players would probably play harder just to prove themselves, right? It really just comes down to their motivation, and with the reserves coming in, they shouldn't lack anything.

Plus, Prestatyn started off in Rijeka playing super defensive, almost like they were hiding in a bunker, but now they've completely lost that vibe—they're playing way more open than they did at the start.

New York Yankees 1 @ 2.60

I’m basically heading out to exhaust the Yankees—it's a massive trek to North Carolina (like, 30 hours on a bus?!) and they’re playing Thursday at 5:45 PM in that absolute furnace of heat. It’s gonna be hitting like 97 F there, and after the game, we gotta head back... man, that kind of travel is bound to take its toll!

To make matters worse, both Kouassi and Anđelković got banged up during today's game against the Seattle Mariners.

But honestly, the Yankees look solid. Once they gel all those new signings together, get some rest, and find that extra gear—especially since they're looking super motivated—they'll be dangerous. They looked incredibly fit too; they were totally dominating the field toward the end of the match against Portland.

Europa League second leg preview

Aalborg BK-Dila Gora f2 @ 2.30

So, Aalborg actually pulled off a massive upset tonight by outplaying Copenhagen (who everyone basically expects to cruise through the league)—talk about a comeback! It looks like they finally managed to shake off that absolute disaster in Georgia and got their heads back in the game, both physically and mentally

Honestly, that 3-0 loss seems like it was purely down to the high altitude and that brutal heat—something those Danish guys just aren't used to handling. You could see them completely gas out in the second half, which is exactly how they let in those two goals

But hey, things look totally different back in Denmark. From what I can see, the talent gap is huge and heavily favors Aalborg. Dila is definitely going to park the bus—whether it's a tactical move or just pure instinct—so

I’m calling it now: a win by at least two goals is looking super likely. Even if Dila manages to hang on for a bit after going down 0-2, they’re probably just going to sit tight in their own half and refuse to take any risks moving forward

Sunday 7:00 PM

Aalborg BK-FC Kopenhagen 2 @ 1.90

Man, Aalborg was absolutely brutal against Dila Gorija today—just a total disaster. They took a shocking 3-0 hit and looked completely humiliated, exhausted, and just... off. You know, everything that can go wrong when you have to face the league leaders, the reigning champs FC Kopenhagen, on their home turf.
I mean, looking at why they fell apart, you can definitely point to missing pieces like captain Augustinussen and that key defender Petersen being out with injuries. Plus, losing their top scorer and star player Helenius (who's now with Aston Villa) really left them hanging, didn't it?
On the flip side, look at Kopenhagen—they just edged out Wolsburg 2:1 in a friendly last week, so they’re feeling fresh. And get this, they actually managed to keep almost all their big hitters from last season on the roster!

RoPSRov-HJK Helsinki RoPSS scores a goal @ 1.60

Minneapolis is stuck right in the middle of their two toughest games of the season—totally drained from Wednesday's action, and with that Champions League rematch looming next Tuesday... yikes! They’re sitting on a rough result too, so I really think they'll be playing it safe. Between wanting to stay fresh for the big game and just being exhausted, it feels like the perfect setup for them to slow things down and concede at least one

Saturday 4:00 PM

Nomme Kalju-Tammek Tammeka scores a goal @ 2.10

The same logic applies to their opponent here! Fatigue is setting in, and their minds are already drifting toward Tuesday. There's a solid chance for an upset here, and honestly? Neither side has seen "both teams to score" hit in their last five matches, so it’s about time we see that streak finally break, right?

Eric Fox7 said:Yeah, but did Streymur even score in Atlanta? 🤷

It’s basically four against one again—and honestly, I think the gap between San Francisco and Prestatyn Town is way bigger than the difference between Atlanta and Streymur. I know that might not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but those semi-pro island teams are just so one-dimensional and predictable, right? I really don't see any danger in those opening matches.

I'm looking back at the brackets from previous years, and man, we haven't seen a slate of games this stacked with such massive mismatches between favorites and underdogs in a long time!

You've got Vikingur, Prestatyn Town, Derry, Differdange, and Vestamanajar all going up against actual serious European clubs.
Soccer Betting Tips & Discussion in Betting Forum ·
Eric Fox7 said:With these guys, the "no goal" option—which is honestly the absolute worst way to bet if you ask me—always feels risky. You're constantly worried about one fluke goal ruining everything, especially when scores get high. Like, who actually cares if they end up conceding in a 6:1 blowout? 🙂

Looking at your picks, I’d steer clear of the Yankees. Not only have the Yankees been prone to losing to total underdogs lately, but the Icelanders are playing incredibly well this season (three of them made it through last year, and the fourth is right on their heels). Honestly? I might even try to hunt for an upset there.

This just popped into my head after watching those Luxembourg teams tonight. Even the big US powerhouse teams weren't playing at full strength, yet these guys couldn't even sniff a goal! Meanwhile, the Luxembourg clubs actually looked somewhat composed and started putting up a fight.

Today they couldn't find the back of the net against anyone—not against the mid-tier teams, the scrappy ones, or even the bottom feeders. They didn't even look like they had a chance! The gap in quality is going to be massive by Thursday. I'm telling you, it'll be hard for them to even land a shot, let alone actually score.

Differdange 03-FC Utrecht Differdange fails to score @ 1.80

I actually felt a bit more confident after watching the Luxembourger champions in action just now—honestly, it wasn't even close to being a workout for Real Madrid! They stood zero chance, really. If anything, the gap between these guys and Utrecht feels even wider now. At 1.80, it looks like a total lock to me. Unless they stumble into a lucky long-distance deflection, there's no way they're scoring against a powerhouse Dutch side that holds its own against teams like PSV or Ajax, right? They just won't be able to organize an attack well enough to pose any real threat

Thursday 9:00 PM

San Francisco-Prestatyn Prestatyn fails to score @ 1.60

Prestatyn doesn't have any other game plan here besides parkin' the bus and defending like crazy. San Francisco is hungry for international success and is going to take this much more seriously than they probably should. Honestly, Prestatyn already made huge strides just by making it through a qualifying round—they were complete underdogs even when playing against the Latvians

Thursday 8:30 PM

Trabzonspor-Derry City Derry City fails to score @ 1.55

Look, the Turks are famous for treating these kinds of tournaments like it's the Super Bowl—we're talking 100% effort every single time. Trabzon was so unlucky to get knocked out in the final qualifying round last season, so expect them to be extra cautious. They aren't going to let things slip away even if they're up 2-0. As for Derry City? Just like Prestatyn, they're another island team lacking a true playmaker. Their only real shot will be from a set piece in the box, but getting those chances against Trabzon is going to be nearly impossible

Thursday 7:00 PM

Petrolul-Víkingur Gota Vikingur fails to score @ 1.50

Vikingur was the absolute, hands-down underdog against Turk—like, seriously, the odds were only 1.03 for their opponent to advance! And somehow, they pulled it off. Now they’re heading out to face a club from a serious footballing nation. Petrolul is easily the biggest favorite to move on from this round, and I find it hard to imagine Vikingur building anything more than a few half-hearted attacks, let alone actually finding the back of the net

Thursday 8:30 PM

CZ Mexico City-IBV Vestmannaeyjar Vestmannaeyjar fails to score 1.60

Vestmannaeyjar barely scraped through against Torshavn thanks to a 90th-minute penalty. I mean, they couldn't even find a solution when scoring was absolutely vital, so what chance do they have against a team like Red Star? Expect them to just sit back and defend until the whistle blows, even if they're trailing 4-0 at halftime
The psychology of sports fans in Psychology ·
Man, you’ve already spilled so much on paper—this whole thing about wanting to be somebody, you know? Like, just really craving to be part of something that actually matters... something you feel is worth your damn time!

They’re basically at war with the cops because they treat those arrests and minor scuffles like freaking trophies—it’s like getting beat up or getting hauled off to jail just boosts their status within the fan group! Who even does that? It's like they're trying to climb the social ladder by picking fights with the police.

The absolute bottom of the barrel—total brain dead territory!

So, get this—we were out there repping the Yankees, right? And suddenly, the cops come flying in with their batons! Seriously, check this out—look at this bruise on my ribs—yeah, see that? It was absolute chaos! I’m telling you, they weren't gonna mess with me. I mean, this guy was huge, like six-foot-six or something, but I swear, if he tried anything, I would've absolutely laid him out! You feel me?

The second-in-command! Or should I say... the real brains behind the operation? 😉

They’re out here preaching "peace and order" just to act all high and mighty—like they're suddenly the class presidents of the fan base! As if! Give me a break... weren't they the ones causing absolute mayhem just a few seasons ago? It's such a joke. Now, they direct all that fake outrage toward the front office—usually with some "totally valid" excuse, of course—to justify storming into some manager's office and turning the whole place upside down. They act like they're doing it all out of pure love for the team, but we all know the drill, right? Total chaos disguised as passion!

The third tier—you know, the intellectuals!

They’re out here hoarding travel stubs, tickets, and photos like they’re some kind of precious trophies—as if showing off that they hit 34 national team games across 19 different countries actually makes them look cool to everyone else! Like, seriously? They think they're such big shots just because of a scrapbook, while completely ignoring the actual violence happening right in front of them. Who even thinks like that?

FC Siauliai vs Žalgiris: Siauliai to score @ 1.90

So, Žalgiris just finished up this brutal match against Patrick on Thursday, and they’ve got the trip for the second leg this Wednesday—talk about a grind! They're looking pretty wiped out, and honestly? They’ll probably try to conserve some energy for the big games ahead since they’re basically the undisputed champs. This matchup isn't exactly a life-or-death situation for them.

On the flip side, they've only let in two goals in their last nine league games, and one of those was actually against Siauliai! Meanwhile, Siauliai has been struggling to find the back of the net over the last two rounds. They aren't desperate for points either, but you bet they'll be hungry to pull an upset against a tired leader who's feeling the pressure.

I'm putting a single bet on this—basically hoping it covers my earlier miss with the exact same play against Guangzhou!
