I really need to vent here because, honestly, I’m at a total loss for words—and I'm not even sure how to process what just happened...
So, about thirty minutes ago, some folks from the local utility company showed up at my place to shut everything off. They told me that if I could get the payment settled within an hour and a half, they wouldn't pull the plug. My brother—bless him—hopped on his bike and flew out of here immediately to handle it. He paid the bill, made copies of the receipts, and rushed back home. In the meantime, he rode into town to drop those receipts off to me, and now, all five of them are sitting right here. Then, the workers show up again, I hand over the receipts, and the guy looks at me and goes, "Wait, didn't your brother say something else?" The bottom line? The guy is basically implying that since they didn't cut our service immediately, I somehow owe him a little extra cash on the spot. Since I don't exactly have a pile of money lying around the house, I just told him my brother would call him, and that we'd meet him later today at the local Starbucks. 👍
I mean, look, the guy actually did us a huge favor by giving us that window of time—and yeah, I know it’s totally on us for missing the deadline—but this whole thing...👎 👎 👎

Something modern and youthful—I spotted one at a Turbo Sport location recently, but the color was just... well, a little strange 😛.
