Finally, someone I can actually talk to about this... It’s been going on with me for quite a while now, and honestly, I just can't find the right words to explain to anyone at home how absolutely miserable this feels. They all think it’s just my legs aching, or maybe they think they've gone numb, or some other thing like that... but it's none of those things. I'm just at a total loss as to how to make it stop. I absolutely hate having to force myself up to go for a walk just because it's the only thing that gives me even a tiny bit of relief, especially when I finally settle down for the night and just want to rest, but then my legs start jumping on their own and I just can't get comfortable. It's just awful... Does anyone have any advice, besides just walking it off?🤷

So, I’m 30 years old and I've been dealing with strabismus my entire life... basically, my left eye just drifts outward. I finally decided to get some professional eyes on it because I really want to go through with surgery. When I went for consultations in Washington, D.C., they told me an operation was an option, but since I live out in San Francisco, they suggested I stick to the specialists here. But then, the doctors in San Francisco wouldn't even touch it because some specific test indicated I'd end up seeing double afterward. According to them, the surgery is only really a viable path if you have poorer vision in the drifting eye, because if you can't see clearly with it anyway, those double images aren't as much of an issue... which is such a bummer. Anyway, I've been hunting around for more advice and people pointed me toward this one specialist at a children's hospital over in Washington, D.C., so I'm going to try my luck there. Nobody has even mentioned strabismus and lentils to me yet. It seems like the bottom line is that you definitely can get surgery for strabismus as an adult and your eye will look totally normal, the only real catch is the double vision if your sight is actually pretty good... So, I finally sat down and watched it, and honestly... I can't say I was exactly blown away... I mean, the lead actress is totally easy on the eyes and has that certain something, but as far as the movie goes, it just felt like another one of those cookie-cutter flicks we see all the time...

I honestly really want to fix this, but then I read online that some people just get over the double vision part... Anyway, I've got my appointment this Tuesday and I'm just sitting here not knowing what to do...

So, when I had my baby, I only put on about twenty pounds total, and honestly, I didn't end up with a single stretch mark—or at least none that anyone could actually see... but then, when I finally gave birth, my stomach was just a complete mess, covered in these deep stretch marks and all this extra skin hanging there. I guess it really just comes down to how much elasticity your skin actually has, or at least that’s what the nurses at the hospital told me when I was recovering...
