For 20 years now, I've been seeing the same specialist who handled both of my pregnancies. She’s someone I actually trust, and I head in once a year just for checkups.

If I see that my doctor is actually good, explains things clearly, and does a thorough job, I am not sweating the money.
If my first experience had actually been decent, maybe I'd be trying to get my grandkids seen via insurance today too.🤷

But here's the thing: she just finished school and doesn't exactly have cash to burn$167 for an exam. About five years ago, I went to our local VŽ clinic using my insurance, and I was seen by this phenomenal young woman. Thank God, I was happy with her...
It just sucks that people can't actually access the benefits they're entitled to...
I don't know, we'll probably end up having to go private with her too... 🤷

So, my sister just turned 18, and now she actually needs to see a gynecologist.
I tried hitting up the social clinic over by Vrčićka, but they aren’t even taking people anymore (honestly, social clinics everywhere are useless lately). One lady there actually had the nerve to snap at me like I was some clueless kid—which, okay, fine, she’s like 50 and I’m only 22, but still! She basically yelled WE AREN'T TAKING PATIENTS, SO WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME???!!! . My sister was standing right there next to me, literally shaking, begging me to just take her home because she's terrified of going to those butchers...

Anyway, does anyone here know (or have a lead on) a decent OB-GYN? My sister's periods are a total mess, and...

I mean, what is someone supposed to do if they don't have a regular doctor? Don't we all have the same right to healthcare in this country??? Ugh, don't start with me or my sister, I'm not in the mood for the attitude.😢
