Casey Foster40 said:Regarding the VIVA, PRVA LIGA BEND or Flash options—does anyone here actually have hands-on experience with them? I’d really appreciate some honest feedback.

From what I’ve seen, everyone seems to be raving about Viva... even those other two bands I’ve been tracking. One of the regulars on here, Blackie, used Viva before—you might want to shoot her a DM for the real scoop, but if I recall correctly, she was absolutely thrilled with them. As for the other two, I can't quite place who used them... maybe try digging through this thread 🤷 a bit more... but honestly, I haven't heard a single bad word about any of them. Just a heads-up, Viva stays pretty booked out... they keep a full schedule of availability right on their website. Good luck...
Friends (2011) in Movies ·
I’ve always had a soft spot for Friends. Even now, if I can catch a rerun, I’ll sit through it... I actually own every single season on disc and I've definitely lost count of how many times I've watched them. Still, though, I can't help but feel like the movie was entirely unnecessary ☕. As for Sex and the City, I never actually sat down for the film, and the series itself? I tried a few episodes once, but it just never really clicked for me
. But look, if they decide to make another movie, you can bet I'll be there watching 😍
Brian Martin98 said:I went ahead and booked Studio In, though I did spend some time looking over Mark’s portfolio, Papaya, and the work from the guy at Photo Plus and Matica. Honestly, those last two were a bit out of my budget, even if their shots were absolutely stunning, which is just... well, it is what it is. I’m just crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly with Studio In!

I actually watched them work a wedding recently and saw how they handled all the footage afterward, so I don't think you have anything to worry about...👍👍👍
Besides, a few women on the forum used them before and were beyond happy with the results...

So, Jessica Clark4 finally weighed in. From what I can gather, this is only the second time they've held a fair like this in Los Angeles, unless someone wants to correct me on that... 🤷 Last year, the big wedding expo was over at the Crypto.com Arena.
I’m planning to head over just to browse some glassware—we haven't settled on that yet—maybe some cakes, and perhaps flowers. Honestly, most of the rest isn't even worth my time; we've already checked off almost everything else on the list. ☕ Sure, I don't have a wedding dress, but it's not like I'm trying to compete with professional models anyway, and frankly, that's not even my priority...

Of course we're going. ☕

James Anderson8 said:Has anyone actually stepped foot inside the Chiara bridal boutique over in Los Angeles lately?

I remember some girl posted her thoughts on them recently... though I can't quite recall if it was in the thread about where to rent or buy a dress, or maybe that one about all the headaches girls run into at bridal shops. I'm not entirely sure which one it was, but it definitely wasn't here. From what I gather, she wasn't exactly thrilled with the experience either...🤷
Ana doesn't even need that job 😉
I'm not here to play the mourner 🤣
Alex Carter3 said:They're working, they just can't keep up with everything. That's why that little icon exists on the side.😉

I know what it's for, really... but just look at that stock ticker thread. It hasn't been touched by a single soul, let alone organized 🤷
It’s been a long time since the moderators here actually did their jobs... 🙄
David Anderson3 said:I stopped by the Lion last year to scout some things for my wedding, and honestly? I wasn't impressed. You can breeze through the whole thing in about 15 minutes. Everything felt cramped and cluttered in one small room. Based on the posters, I really expected more... The only silver lining was finding where to get rings and snagging a 20% discount (Gallagher in San Francisco). I wouldn't bother going there specifically to hunt for a wedding dress or a suit; it’s just not worth the trip. It’s okay to see what people are offering, though. They had a little showcase with gowns, suits, and shoes afterward, which was pretty, but ultimately pointless. It might be a nice outing if you go with your maid of honor just to hang out, but don't set your expectations too high. Just some advice from a happily married woman 😍

I'm only heading there to look at rings; I don't need anything else ☕
I have zero interest in fashion shows. A dress isn't going to fit me like it does a model, and a model certainly isn't going to look like me 🤣

David Davis33 said:Yeah, the wedding expo at the Lion is happening from February 19th to the 21st, 2010. Or maybe I'm tripping, I can't quite remember perfectly.

I've got a feeling it's gonna be even bigger this time around.

Right, from the 19th to the 21st... it should be a larger crowd.☕

I’m just sitting here waiting for the trade show at Microsoft. It should be happening soon ☕

Anthony Bennett6 said:Just finished checking out the wedding expo at the Grand Hyatt... It’s definitely feeling a bit crowded today! Still, you should absolutely swing by just to grab some business cards and info...

I took a look at their schedule online, but nothing really caught my eye 🤷
could you share a bit more detail? What’s actually worth seeing there?
John Ruiz80 really went all out here, I have to give her credit 🙏
. I’m sure this will be useful for someone... Based on how you described it, John Ruiz80, that place in Brel should actually be called the Kričak Restaurant. It sits right next to the Ivandica Dvori Restaurant. There... consider that my little contribution to the thread 😍
Law Abiding Citizen (2009) in Movies ·
Solid movie. Honestly, the ending was pretty stupid, but overall... it worked. Those two hours just flew by.
George Bennett9 said:The duo Vinuti and Ivo—could someone please provide some insight? Does anyone have any actual reviews, praise, or even a bit of criticism to share? I'd love to hear it!

Honestly, I can only echo the praise for them... nothing but good things...😍
Karen Cruz2 said:Just wanted to share... I had such a blast at the wedding this past Saturday. It was held over at Phoenix in Dugopolj, and there were about 200 of us there. They were serving up Barbary drinks, and honestly, they set the mood perfectly—we were on our feet from 8 PM all the way until 4 AM.
The food was incredible too. My only gripe was that the room got pretty stuffy; it was roasting in there because they wouldn't turn on the AC to avoid anyone complaining. Other than that, everything was a solid 5+.
BTW, the guys from Studio In were doing the photography, and from what I've seen, the shots look amazing. That's it!

🎉 🎉
I’m leaning toward that same combination myself (though I'll skip Phoenix; I'm looking for a venue in the MA area)

George Flores16 said:Nicole Kim11, I was saying that everything is right there in Baška because you’ve got Baška polje and the water all within walking distance. The hotel looks pretty rough right now, but honestly, it could be renovated beautifully for anyone looking for a large venue that won't break the bank. I actually handled the decor myself once, and the wedding couples couldn't believe it was the same space they had rented. So, it's really up to you.

Fine, fine... but I’m sticking to my guns. I don't like the place, period. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone... unless they tear it down entirely and build something new from the ground up, including the surrounding area. What about the Horizon in Baška polje? Or maybe the Hotel Americana? They have large halls, though I'm not sure about the exact capacity... or what about the Soline in Breves? That whole place was renovated just two or three years ago. In my opinion, those are far better options than Baška polje...🤷
Besides, the guy is looking for a venue somewhere between Key West and Miami...☕
Everything you need for a California wedding in Weddings ·
George Flores16 said:Since you’re looking at the area around Key West, just keep in mind a pirate theme might work best around November or December because finding a venue earlier than that is going to be a nightmare. I’d highly recommend checking out Galeb in Key West or maybe Castel Slanica. If you want something right on the edge of town, there's the Brzet hotel in Brzet, or you could head further out toward the Stanič Restaurant area. For a group that size, there is one hotel in Baška, but it would definitely need some work with decorations and linens to pull it off—it might actually be available in September or October, and it’s called Alen. I can give you the full details via DM. Hope this helps.

The Alan hotel isn't actually in Baška, it's in Baška polje... and in my experience...👎
